Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville.
In September, the pawrents got to go on a staycation for Daddy's work. Although they were only a few miles away from home, Mama found some fun southwestern nature.
The weather was just starting to cool off, and the skies were beginning to get that "Autumnal" look. You know. the look, thin clouds with peeks of sun.

There were still a few blooms to be found, like this pink succulent flower...

and these pretty orange trumpet vine blooms almost posed for Mama.
They had some cool sculptures in the courtyard too

Look at these pretty deep red leaves and cute little blooms

These purple blooms of the chaste tree really stood out against all the green leaves

There were some fun old time wagons around, just like they had in the old west...

We'll wrap up this week with this pretty southwestern scene featuring the Sandia Mountains

Thanks for joining us for a little look at some of our local southwest scenery.
We hope all our friends get to experience some nature this weekend.

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.

ReplyDeleteHi Rosy. Great report and pictures, too! We've had bright blue skies for two weeks. The weather's been a bit strange. Looks like there were lots of cool things to check out. I wonder if it would be fun to go up those mountains... uh, probably not! XOX Your friend, Xena
