Before we get started today, we wanted to answer questions asked by some of our students yesterday...
Tessa asked what to do when you catch the squirrel??
ummmmm we are not quite sure, Jakey says EAT IT!!! I say, maybe just see if it wants to play (yes, Mama is sitting right here, and says NO BLOOD!).
Madi asks if we maybe have a gourmet recipe for the squirrel once it is caught??
Once again...Mama is sitting right here...so no, because we are not allowed to shed blood (unless of course Mama is not home...and then, Maybe some squirrely sushi!).
The Kitty Krew led by Miss Cindi Lou Hoo asks
what they should do after following the squirrel up the tree and then the squirrel makes them look foolish by jumping to another tree?
Well, you are kitty kats...and I am pretty sure kitty kats sit there and look like that is what was SUPPOSE to happen...So I'm a pretty sure you are NOT doing anything wrong!!
OK....here is Prof. Jakey with today's Squirrel Chasing Class 101A, Indoor Squirrel Chasing!
Hi all you furries!!
Hey PeeWee and Norwood...is that a BALL?? Can I play....hey throw it over here...Don't let Mango get it all slimy PeeWee...
JACOB!!!!!!!!
What Bilbo??? OH....That's right...Bilbo says I can't play right now guys, gotta teach!! Catch me after class!!
So....lately we have had an indoor squirrely problem. Seems they are ALL OVER the place!!
This the infamous Tree Rat Gang.
Tricky has 3 accomplices, including their body guard and the biggest of them of all, Fazzy Tubbo!! He is a bit of a wino!!
They are pretty sneaky and I have been after them for a while now.
The good thing about Indoor Squirrel Hunting is that you do not have to have
P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E. You just have to .......
HEY JAKEY!!
These are not REAL SQUIRRELS!!
Indoor Squirrely hunting is SOOOOO boring!!!
Indoor Squirrely hunting is SOOOOO boring!!!
Shush Up Missy Poo-Poo !!
(she HATES when I call her that...hehehehe)
I am teachin' over here.
ANYWAYS....the key to taking care of an inside squirrel infestation is to tackle the biggest rodent first...So I am going after Fazzy Tubbo!!
Oh NO FAZZY HAS DADDY'S HAND!!
I WILL SAVE YOU DADDY!!
I have you now Fazzy Tubbo....
Show NO MERCY when taking care of these sneaky stuffies....
Make them SQUEAK for mercy!!
(Note...do not make them squeak for mercy too much, or your hooman may help the stuffie escape)
Once you have tackled the biggest of them all, the rest will run for cover!!
Try to catch them if you can.... OR you can wait to they all think they are safe and then after a day or two, attach their loggie home and de-stuff them one by one!!
That's really all there is to it!! Try to involve your brothers and sisters if you have any when hunting, even IF SOME-DORY THINK IT IS BORING!!
We will once again answer any questions before we announce grades tomorrow!!
Wow you all were such GREAT students....we have had SO MUCH FUN teaching efurrybuddy. Of course you all passed with flying squirrel colors!! Feel free to grab a badge when you leave!!
Make sure you stop by and visit the rest of those at the back to school bash. Go visit Sugar or Sarge to see where all the fun is today!!
Bilbo will be back tomorrow to announce the grades and to pick a winner for the cookie jar filled with treats (either Kitteh of Doggie)! If we pick a name from out of the country we will donate your cookie jar and treats to Life Long Friends (our favorite Pet Adoption Center in your name)!
Now that was an interesting class. If all classwork was this much fun, we'd breeze through canine and feline college.

Eeesh! We missed the first day of class! However, we were busy with a 'practical' yesterday, so maybe we won't lose too many points? Heehee. Hey, um, we had some indoor squirrels like that and we, uh, well, we killed 'em. No more indoor squirrels! Heehee. Now we'll go back and see what we missed yesterday.... Sorry!

Missy Poo Poo? Uh oh.
ReplyDeleteHow invigorating. It appears your estate is quite overrun with squirrels and while you might mock Prof. Jakey, I think without him things would get quite out of hand.
Slobbers,
Mango
Professor Jakey, we really liked your indoor squirrel chasing class. We think this would be the perfect activity for rainy days, being as we are cats and hate rain.
ReplyDeleteThank you for answering our question. We are still very young and have a lot to learn. From now on when those silly squirrels leap to another tree we will look very aloof and say silly, fraidy squirrel.
Purrs,
Cindi Lou and The Kitty Krew
