Today we went to the French Quarter...and we only have one question. Where are the quarters???
We didn't see any quarters, dimes, nickels or even a penny!
(teeheehee)
What the French Quarter does have is lots of old buildings, some are restaurants, some are stores and some are housings for doggies and their humans!!
They also call this the Gas Lamp District
because they have tons of lamps like this one
...they keep them lit all the time even during the DAY!!
It was warm outside so we made sure to
take lots of breaks. We we took a break on this bench here:
At the Louis Armstrong park, he was a very famous Jazz trumpet AND singer.
Mama just loves both Louie and Jazz...and made sure that this is what was
playing on her ear strings during our walk today!
We had a great time today....and can't wait until
tomorrow!!
Hey mini ones glad you are having a great time. The weather looks prefect. Have a terrific Tuesday.

I love Nawlins and the French Quarter! You are some lucky Mini Mes!
ReplyDeleteI thought they used francs in France, not quarters! Odd. Oh. Or maybe Euros. Either way, mighty odd.
