Lately, we have been having lots of rainy days. Mama says somebody named El Nino is visiting this winter and bringing lots of rain.
This will be great for all of the spring flowers, but now we need to watch the radar to sneak outside in between the rain showers to go potty (we are not water doggies at ALL).
The sun peaked out for a few hours this morning, and Mama took pictures of this beautiful (but not real) flower.
This is how we usually have our pictures taken, in the natural light. Lately though, it has been dark and stormy making it more natural dark than natural light. This makes it beautiful outside, but we have to get creative inside.
We are taking advantage of this by making Mama practice taking pictures of us using other kind of lights (beside the sun) to make us
look beautiful! That's why you are seeing lots of twinkle lights in our pictures lately.
Mama knows we don't like the flashy in the flashy box and tries not to use it unless absolutely necessary. She has been resorting to drastic lighting measures so she doesn't have to use the flashy.
Like putting twinkle lights in my tutu!!!

Oh Dory, it is lovely to see your pretty indoor pictures. But you are also lucky that you don't live in NE Scotland as you would have been crossing your legs since Christmas! Finally it has stopped raining today, at least for the moment….

Dark and dreary raining days really make for challenging blog photos. Hopefully you will get a rain break soon. That El Nino thing is messing up our weather too, keeping it far too warm. I don't think anyone is happy about El Nino visiting.
