Today's Flower Friday is dedicate to our good friend Whitley, who went to the Bridge yesterday. You will always live in our hearts and I will always think of you and your love of the water whenever I wear the dolphin dress you let your Mama make for me!
I know you will have a whole new line of dresses to show me
when we meet again!
Transport over to Whitley's HERE to leave
a word of support for her family.
Happy Flower Friday everybody!! As you might know, all of us here at Dory's Backyard are originally from Texas! Bilbo was born and raised in Austin, TX....I was born in College Station, TX and raised in Austin, TX and both Jakey and Arty were born and raised in Austin too!
Most of these flower pictures were taken in the middle of Downtown Austin at the Lady Bird Johnson Lake(aka Town Lake)..
Except for this magnolia which Mama captured while she was walking around the Texas State Capitol!
There are so many beautiful wildflowers in Texas during the Springtime!
Especially this spring, because there was lots of rain over the winter!
Mama says she is going back to Texas this summer after the B.A.R. to see Grandma and Grandpa and her sister and brothers
(and stay tuned tomorrow for our newest Uncle she is going to see!)
Probably all of the wildflowers will be gone by then tho...
...and it will be lots warmer
...so I'll have to stay home with Daddy.
But that's ok, maybe I'll send Arty to keep her company.
But that's ok, maybe I'll send Arty to keep her company.
I bet Arty would chase all the turtles....
Boy, Mama sure did see lots of flowers, didn't she!!??
Funny how she knows all the names of these flowers...
...and didn't know any of the names of the California wildflowers...Silly Mama!!
This goose doesn't look real happy with you, Mama.
Bet you forgot to bring treats for her too!!
Such beautimous flowers!
We can't believe you even found some late blooming Bluebonnets!!
We hope you have some beautimous flowers blooming where you are!!!
Hop aboard the Flower Friday Blog Hop and show us what's blooming in your corner of Blogville!!
(We don't know what is going on with the Linky, but we are trying again. Mama is sooooo very sorry this didn't go through this morning)
