I had a dream last week....
Dory and I were on our couch way back when we were only puppies. She let me know she was in a place where sun puddles appeared whenever you needed them, there are unlimited pumpkin crunchies, squirrels appeared just for her to chase and there is never, ever any pain.
She thanked me for helping Mama and Daddy get through the past couple of months and what a good job I had done training Arty to take over as family scheduler!
Dory let me know the hardest thing about going to this place was that Mama and Daddy couldn't go with me and they would be sad. I asked her if we could check in on them from time to time to make sure they were ok?? She said we would always live in their hearts and we could visit them in their dreams and memories all the time.
She told me she was saving me a place, for when I am ready.
Earlier this week,
I let Mama and Daddy know I was ready....
I am now with my Sissy Dory at the Rainbow Bridge. I told Mama and Daddy to not be sad. After all, Dory needs someone to make sure she does everything she is supposed to do!
I will really miss Blogville and I know Arty and Jakey will do their best uphold the legacy Dory and I began way back in 2009!

The tears have started flowing again...sweet Bilbo...how difficult this must be for your Mom and Dad...after just losing Dory. I know how hard it is...but two is just overwhelming. We pets know when it is time.....your precious Dory left early to prepare a nice sunny spot for you OTRB and the best news is NO rain so lots of out of doors time and I hear the pumpkin crunchies are EVERYWHERE.
So Bilbo I say a bittersweet until we meet again. I will miss your sweet face but am so very happy that you and Dory will be together again for eternity.
Be sure to fly in to say hi every now and make sure Mayor Arty and Jakey are TCB per your instructions.

Bilbo, I might not have known you but I know how hard it is to leave your family behind when you have to go.
