Happy Flower Friday!! Mini Dory here today to show you all the beautmous flowers I saw while Mama, Daddy and I were visiting Las Vegas! Mama and Daddy decided at the last minute to go in search of some sun and warmer weather, and thought Las Vegas would be just the ticket! I reminded Mama she can always use some additional flower pictures. I stepped up and volunteered to be stuffed in her purse tag along and be her model!
This week we are also taking part in {This Moment} See Beautiful! Because, even in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, so much beautiful can be found if you take the time to look for it!
Mama, Daddy and I spent most of our flower time at the Bellagio Conservatory! Last time Mama was there was in the Fall(click HERE to visit) with all the Harvest decorations. When we were there this time, they were all decorated for the Chinese New Year!
The colors and displays made of flowers were amazing!!!
This season had quite the display of Buttie-pillars!!
Aren't they beautimous?1
We thought of Princess Leah when we saw this royal specimen!
I made sure to have Mama take a picture of me with one!!
Mama and Daddy loved the "floaty water" that was in the pond!
I was very fond of the cheerful hibiscus surrounding one side of the pond!
Look how vivid their colors are!!
They had tons and tons of hydrangeas!
Look at the Teahouse!!
Here is a turtle...
With rose designs on his shell!!
They even had a display of finches!
(Although Mama felt a bit sorry for them in such a noisy environment)
They even had one of Mama's favorite birdies, the Great Heron, made of flowers!
When we left the conservatory to make our way to Las Vegas Blvd(more commonly known as the Las Vegas Strip) we found these flowers in the Bellagio Mall
.....and when I looked up, guess what I saw..
These pretty flower umbrellas!!!!
Finally, we made it to the Strip where we found some pretty pink petunias!!
We stopped for a while to watch the dancing fountains in front of the Wynn
...that's when Daddy saw this splendid rose!
We took a walk through the Wynn casino where they have pretty flower baubles and lights
in the trees!
They also have this cool balloon made of flowers!
Look at all the fancy cargo it has on it!
Look at all the fancy cargo it has on it!
Finally, we made our way to the Venetian Casino
Where I found more hydrangeas...
...and another Buttie-pillar!!!
Rest Area flowers on the way home |
We hope you enjoyed our tour of Las Vegas Flowers!!
I would like to take a minute to send the handsome Mr. Bailey lots of sunpuddles to lay in this weekend and maybe a few more dishes of ice-cream. Mr. Bailey is trying to cope with some back issues as a result of that mean ole dude, Aurthur-Itis and could use some POTP.
Please stop by HERE to read more.

Wow! What an amazing place!
ReplyDeletePOTP continuing for Mr. Bailey. Are all those flowers growing where they are, or were they picked, or are they not real? There must be billions of flowers.
ReplyDeleteWe hung out at this place in evening last week before heading out to our next destination. While we were there we found the service at the event venues to be quick and attentive. Probably because it was early on a Friday and it was still kind of empty.
