Backyard Nature

It may be another week until Spring officially arrives, but one of our backyard Rhodies thinks Spring has sprung already!!  My Leprechaun brothers and I wanted to show it to you this week on Nature Friday!

As you can see it's first to the backyard party and none of our other bushes have bloomed yet.

So many blooms, so little time!

Let's give everyone a closer look Rosy!

Here is a Rhody bud cluster. Aren't those pink edges pretty?!

Here is a few of the top of the bush, Mama really enjoys the ripply, wavy texture of these blooms!

...and the slight touch of pink is just beautimous!!

Us Leprechauns really love Rhodies, don't we Jakey??
You know what else we like?
COOKIES! Speaking of cookies, Mama needs to put some in my tummy!

We cant help but like the way Robin Williams thinks!

Here's hoping you all have a party kind of weekend!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE

  6. Wow, what a pretty bush, and you are so lucky to have some blossoms to enjoy! I think it will be a while until we saw our Rhodie blossom.
We agree with Robin, but I don't think the party has really started here yet. It's rainy and cold today.

  11. Those flowers are really beautiful! We could never grow these in our yard. I think it's something to do with the type of soil. But we have plenty of other things growing. Hopefully in a week or so, we'll have some flowers to show.

  14. You all look so nice in your St. Paddy's gear. And those rhododendrons are beautiful. Mom's yard when she was growing up was lined with lavender-colored ones. And the flowers were HUGE!!! We love the hints of pink in yours.
