Rosy here today to celebrate how thankful Mama and I are for November Colors! I know we have mentioned it before, but we are sooooo happy to be in an area that has four seasons!
I am still deciding which is my favorite season, but I know Mama's favorite season is Fall! She has always seen the Fall as a time of renewal and fresh starts(stemming from back to school season).
Not only is it a time of fresh starts, but the colors outside are amazing!
From the reds...
...to the yellows...
...and the reds and yellows combined!
Look at our Texas Yucca!
The seed pods are just gorgeous!!
...and they are bursting with seeds!
The only thing we aren't crazy about in the Fall is the silly human time change. Saturday night/Sunday morning we move the clocks back an hour. Mama and Daddy ARE thankful that this change is the one where they are "supposed" to get an extra hour's sleep.
MWAHAHAHAHA
We'll see about that!
I have to say, I can see why Mama thinks Fall is the best season of all....
BUT
Winter is coming!
(and I LOVE snow!)
We love seeing the Fall foliage from different parts of the world, and are fascinated by Mom's wonderful photo of the yucca seed pods. Not something we see in our neck of the woods. Gail says autumn is her favourite season too. (Here in Scotland we are supposed to have four seasons, but sometimes summer goes missing...)
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!
Nobby.
oooh snow... is it that time again? we never saw seed pods of a yucca... maybe we will get some too with our new yucca friend?
ReplyDeleteYour colors are beautiful, Rosy, and autumn is our favorite season too and like you, I love the snow too!

ReplyDeleteYes, I love the red-orange-yellows of this season, so join the autumnal chorus!!! I adore your pretty bow, Rosy and think again how wonderfurs is your new yard... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Such gorgeous fall colors and plants and flowers ... would not have thought there to be so many in your area, a surprise to us!
ReplyDeleteFall is so beautiful, but when all the leaves fall it is a lot of work to get them all mulched up to get the yard ready for wintertime. Enjoy your colors and then we will all wait for some snow!
ReplyDeleteNiece Rosy first and foremost OMDs you and your Fall Festive attire make my heart sing and my eyes happy. Fall is my favorite season too. I like spring but here in NC spring is too short.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do have beauty all around you
Hugs Aunty C

We love seeing all those beautiful fall colors and your beautiful face too, Rosy.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Hmm, reds plus yellows equals ... ORANGE! Dada's favorite color!"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "What's this business about setting the clocks back on Sunday?"
Charlee: "Well basically it means that this Sunday we all get fed an hour later than we should."
Java Bean: "¡Ay, eso no es bueno!"
your pictures have great focus and composition. Rosie is a pretty model. We got snow yesterday in Colorado.... not much accumulation but snowed most of the day. Tomorrow it will be in the 60's again. LeeAnna and Milo
