Today, here in the USA, it is Veteran's Day. A day where we honor and show our gratitude for all Veterans who have served their country.
What a wonderful reason to visit the Rio Rancho Veteran's Memorial Park.
The RRVMP is a beautiful park close to our house that honors our local Veterans.
We paused to reflect and honor those who have served our country. Mama told me about her Daddy, who served in the US Marines and her high school BFF, who served in the US Navy.
Mama and I also took a nice walkie around and admired colorful trees and the lovely memorials!
"As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the
highest appreciation is not to utter words
but to live by them."

We are very thankful today, and everyday, for all those who have served, or continue to serve, our country.

Lulu: "What a great park to honor the veterans! They have been working on such a park here in town, but it's not finished yet. I guess it takes a while for these things to be done properly!"
