Happy Travel Tuesday - Angel Fire NM

CeCe, ready to go!
It seems like ions ago, but actually it was just a couple of weeks ago that we took CeCe in search of cooler weather. We pointed her toward the Santa Fe Mountains and Angel Fire, New Mexico.

"Are we there yet?"
It was about a 3 1/2 hour drive Northeast through the plains  and into the mountains of New Mexico. Mama and Daddy say it's a beautiful drive, but I slept through most of it...Oh well, that's why we bring Mama right?? We'll show you pictures on Friday of our "nature" travel moments.

Smiling for the camera
On this trip we had perfect weather(Sunny and temps in the 70s(F)) and went for lots of walks. Here we are getting ready for our second walk!

Super Models
The RV Resort was really nice. It had a big trail that went around the whole RV park!

Whoah.....horses are big!
Sunny saw some horses coming back from a trail ride.

Rosy: Is that a gopher over there??
Sunny was more into photoshoots this trip. Not me, there was too much to see and I just wanted to go, go, go!

So comfy
The park had a nice clubhouse and patio where we could sit back and relax!

Why yes, this is a Yellowstone Camping Fire Pit
As usual, the weekend went way too fast and before we knew it we were enjoying our last "campfire" of the weekend! Mama and Daddy got this cool propane campfire maker since it's against the rules to have regular wood campfires in most of the places we camp.

Zzzzzzzzz
Mama saw more cool things on the way home that we'll feature in a Nature Friday soon..
but we missed it because,
you know...
Zzzzzzzzzzz

We are joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the

That fire pit is excellent - and the whole park looked pawfect for your short break. Hope it's not too long before you can travel again! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx (who gets back on the road herself today...)

  4. That looks like a nice short trip. Nelson sleeps almost all the time in the car, but Olivia likes to see where she is headed and look out the window a lot. I am kind of a mix. Looking forward to your travel pics on Friday.

  8. Lulu: "That looks like a great place to camp and hang out! Of course, our Dada saw 'Angel Fire' and immediately thought there must be a wildfire near you. I think he has lived in California too long ..."

  10. I could go in for that kind of travelling and glamping. As long as I had my soft sided kennel to sleep in while we moved down the road. It is my "safe place." Rosy, I have never seen a longer tongue. You win the prize! I'll let you know what it is when I find something.
Sunny, as Chia's temporary secretary, she said to tell you hi and she wishes, I mean really, really wishes she was there. I guess that's cause she's still stuck in her kennel. XOX Xena
