Last week, the pawrents got everything ready so we could all travel as a family in CeCe!
That's right, no more traveling behind Daddy in the Jeep when we go camping...From now on CeCe will be towing the Diva Jeep and Mama, Sunny and Me(Rosy) will travel with Daddy in CeCe!
Last Sunday, we hooked up the Diva Jeep and took her for a test drive behind CeCe to the Route 66 RV Resort(about 30 miles west of our house)! Daddy did a great job handling our "Big Rig" and JeeJee, being a Diva Jeep, enjoyed being towed and not having to do any work!
We got to take a nice walk around the RV Park grounds and were very pleased with their layout. They have TWO very well maintained dog parks and nicely paved trails that went around the park. The views were pawesome and definitely had a desert feel. We were there for less than 24 hours, but the pawrents said we would definitely be back to explore more in the future!
Another plus? They are located on the historic Route 66, and we all enjoyed the "kitschy" decor.
They had a nice old fashioned gas pump which is really an electric vehicle charger! This means YAM Aunty can bring The Grey to visit (if she can find a way to get him across the Atlantic, that is).
The skies were beautiful as storms moved in during the late afternoon.
There was even a rainbow that landed right on CeCe!!
She is definitely the pot of gold at the end of our rainbow!
(Daddy says she cost as much as a pot of gold too. BOL!)
We really enjoyed both the Route 66 RV Resort and are very thankful we'll be traveling together in CeCe as a family!
We can't wait to get back on the road again!!
Thank you Brian for hosting the

ReplyDeleteLove love love that shadow shot!!!! i did not know you did not ride in CeCe with daddy until now. this is a super great idea and the 24 hour test is also a super idea. I once checked the price of RVs and woo hoo it is a pot of gold. that rainbow may have put a little more gold in CeCe. My friend Jackie, has a daugther named CiCi... if I ever spell it that way, that is the reason
ReplyDeleteOMDs. Nieces Rosy and Sunny what a glorious post about being a traveling family. Diva Jeep BOL BOL BOL. I'm sure JeJe love being behind CeCe. Most of all I'm happy you two are living and loving in the same spaces now

That makes a lot more sense and will be much more fun for the whole family. It isn't a true family vacation if you have to travel separately.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun test drive you all had. We love the rainbow and shadow pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLulu: "A gas pump electric car charger! We know what Alanis Morissette would have to say about that ..."
ReplyDeleteDon't ya think? ;-O
