BWW -Summer Hummer Farewell

One of the saddest part of September, is saying goodbye to the hummingbirds. This week we all shed a tear when Mama took down the last feeder. We'll miss these little tough guys.

Here is some of the final footage TC caught of our Summer Hummers:

  4. If they were at your feeders all year they wouldn't be as fun and exciting. Now you can focus on the more winter like creatures.

  5. You look so adorable in your colorful outfit, Sunny. Our hummers have all gone now too. It's always fun to see them around but we'll have to wait until next May to see them again.

  7. Many of ours are gone, but there will be plenty that stay. We feed them year around. I know I'd cry too. We love our hummers.

  8. Niece Sunny OMDs...I know what you mean I really will miss those little gems.
I had 2 visits this morning.....Just a few weeks ago the feeder needed a traffic director.
Last sighting last year was morning of 10/8...I made note in my log book that the night temp on 10/7 was 43. I'm hopeful I will have at least another week of sightings
