The dog days of Summer might be coming to an end, but thankfully lots of lizards
are still eating buggies in my backyard!!
The only problem is, when I chase them, they run up the fence and just stick there just out of reach!
It's like they have glue on the bottom of their little lizard paws!
Thankfully, there a lots more lizards where he came from.
BOL!!!
that's nice to eat the bugs... wish we had buggie eaters here too ;O)
ReplyDeleteThat is very cheeky of the lizard, to hang around just out of reach. Although increasingly, as the springs in my legs develop, I find fewer and fewer things are out of reach!
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!
Nobby.

ReplyDeleteHow mean of Lizzy to tease you like that... they are like some sort of secret agenty types sticky to uprights like that!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
If you ever catch one you will have to tell us how they taste, Rosy. BOL!
ReplyDeleteYour lizard looks just like ours and we have thousands of them. 87 thousand we think. MOL. they do appear to have glue on their feet but they also have teeny tiny really sharp claws that cling. all of our angels dogs have enjoyed their company. Jake was the only one that ate them once in a while. he did kill a couple a day for all the years he was here.
ReplyDeleteNiece Rosy what cheeky lizards....can you reach their tail? Maybe when Niece Sunny gets back into action she can reach them with her long legs

Lulu: "🎵 Spider-Lizard, Spider-Lizard, runs up the post but nothing rhymes with 'lizard' except 'blizzard' and 'gizzard' ... 🎵"
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "I don't foresee this song of yours becoming a hit."
Chaplin: "You forgot 'wizard'!"
You need to get some grease on that fence so the lizards slide right down and into your mouth, Rosy!
ReplyDeleteWe love our lizards, but I remember our Angel Little Bit chasing them. She never caught them, but she sure loved chasing them.
