  Sitting outside, enjoying the breeze

taking in all the nature I see.

Trees all around us, the sun going down,

Is that a bunny I see, hmm is he brown?

 

A birdy is tweeting a pretty song,

I could sit here all evening long.

Just relaxing and seeing all nature's views.

I just love the outdoors,

Mama and Daddy to me on a "Pawrents and Me"

Road Trip last weekend...

 

Just Say No to Road Trips

I don't know why

I must go bye bye,

My pawrents insist I go

and all I feel is woe.

 

Could it be, on a trip

I get sicker than sick?

 

If I do take a pill

All I do is sit still

with my eyes all a glaze

and my mind in a haze

 

Now, don't get upset

If in CeCe I sit,

My sister is near and

I know I need not fear

 

But Jakey cannot be alone

and I cannot be the one to stay home

So on a road trip I sit

trying not to get sick! 

(From Mama:  Sunny, if you didn't pick on Jakey, you might be able  to stay home!)

Winter at Sequoia Gardens

 

Earlier this week Mama and I took advantage of a sunny morning and headed to Sequoia Gardens in search of kind of some nature!

 

 

 

 At first glance, it looked like everything was brown and dormant for the Winter. But Mama and I

 started looking more closely and just look at what we found!

 

 

 Little birdies singing in the trees

 

 

 

Flowers basking in the sun

 

 

 Flowers that have turned into feathery seed to fly away and bloom in new places

 

 

 

 Rain drops on red flowers....

 

 

 

Pretty seed pods

 

 

 

 Shiny blooms

 

 

 

 

Look at these pretty Sweet Allysum flowers!

 

 

 

 

 We even found these beautiful red foxglove type flowers!! 

  

It sure was fun taking the time to sniff around and see what nature was out there! We hope you can get out and find some nature in unexpected places this weekend!

Merry Nature Christmas!!

 

 Today I just want to say that, although it's been a crazy year in many ways, I am thankful my eyes are back to good!

This week I went to the eye doctor for a check up and Doctor Bliss was so very happy with how well my eyes are doing.

You would never know that last January I had multiple ulcers!

 

 

 

Next Friday, I'll take you along to see the pretty sights Mama and I saw on our Howliday road trip to Oregon to see Dr. Bliss!!
