Can you believe the squirrels are more afraid of ME, than our local Teenage Hawk??
Here is some proof I found when looking through some TC footage:

An instant classic!
ReplyDeleteI truly have never seen anything like this and what a brave Squirrel I’m getting my water and you’re not bothering me at all! It’s really interesting to agree with Robbie about the instant classic
ReplyDeleteThat is sure one dumb squirrel to be so bold to the hawk!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that squirrel has double trouble brewing in your yard. Two big dangers.
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a brave squirrel. We know he surely would run if he saw you coming, Rosy.
ReplyDeleteSorry a slight typo
ReplyDeleteNiece Rosy the squirrels are very AWARE that you are quicker on land than they are...but to them I say BEWARE teenage hawks are very smart and grow up quickly
Love the photo and video
Hugs AC
That silly squirrel sure looks so unconcerned about the hawk being close.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "That squirrel is either crazy or very heavily armed ..."
ReplyDeleteRosy will win this battle. I'll always pick your pups to win any battle. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Is that Chucky getting ready for Halloween? Too cute! #Wordlesswednesday
ReplyDeleteMaybe that hawk knows something we don't know, especially since we have never caught or tasted one:)

I'd be shaking in my furs if I was that squirrel. I'm glad we're friends! Your friend, Xena
ReplyDeleteThe squirrel is wise in her day and time and knows a teen who can't hunt yet when she sees one, is my guess. Great footage, by the way.
