Today, on Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday, I am thankful for the wonderful smells the cool breezes of Autumn bring! The leaves as they get crispy on the ground, the smoke in the air from fireplaces burning and even the cinnamon apple potpourri Mama has in the house!
But my most favorite smell is the lovely smell of the meat the neighbors have in their smoker next door!
YUM!
What Fall smells are you thankful for today??
we are with you... and even the burning leaves smell tasty now... but sadly the mama said the opposite LOL

It's been on the warmish side here for the last few days with a slight humidity and mom says that dying leaves on our walks are her favorite scent of Autumn!
ReplyDeleteWe all like sniffing in the fallen leaves. There are tons of critter smells in there.
ReplyDeleteits odd how smells can make of think of different things. you are looking wonderful MS Sunny and we sure got tired of smelling grills and smokers for the week we were without power and had all the windows open. beau did not say if he liked the smell or not.
ReplyDeleteWe love being outside and catching wiffs of lots of stuff outside. There often is the scent left behind by some of the critters that come to our yard that we can smell but our parents can't.
ReplyDeleteNiece Sunny Aunty was about to say cinnamon and fall spices are her favorite too
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER, now she will say they are her 2nd favorite. I love the aroma of meat on the grill or in the smoker
Hugs to you all AC
Have a happy day whiffin' all those wonderful smells sweet Sunny! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteIn the fall the good smells come out of their shells.
ReplyDeleteXena: squirrels and bbq
ReplyDeleteLucy: the smell of my Dad sleeping in bed with me
Chia: the smell of when my friend Ron down the street is out on his porch
Oh we bet that smoked meat smells delish. Yesterday we had some interesting odors wafting in the air. Evidently the atmospheric conditions let the wind carry the sweet smell of manure from Iowa all the way through Missouri and Kansas. We kept trying to figure out where that smell was coming from.

Oh, the world is a smorgasbord for your nose!
ReplyDeleteOooh, nothing quite like that aromatic BBQ smell to fill the air. If you're real lucky maybe you'll get a little taste too. 🤞🏼
