Nature Friday Flashback - Pink Dahlias

Today's flashback is about my most favorite color and my most favorite flowers!

Rosy here reporting from Sequoia Gardens to let you know the Dahlias are blooming like crazy! In fact, they are blooming so much it will probably take up most of our August Nature Fridays! This week let's take a look at all the different pinkish variation dahlias I found!

Here we have a pink dahlia with pointy petals...

Don't worry, there are lots of pink ones with curved petals too!

We found a few different pink dahlias with yellow mixed in too!

This one kinda looks like a Mama hugging a baby dahlia..

...and these look like dahlia fire works, don't you think??

Here are our favorite pinkies...

These pink petals almost looks painted onto this pretty bloom!

This pink is so dark, it's almost purple.
We also like the way the petals are spiraling in the middle.

Mama and I both picked this one as our favorite...it is almost the pawfect pink!!

Thanks for stopping by and we hope these flowers helped bring color and warmth into your Winter Day!

Tomorrow we hit the road for New Mexico!!
We will have one more flashback post next Friday
(but we'll make sure Mama includes another picture of us). We can't wait to catch up with everybody!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.

  12. Many thanks for sharing beautiful dahlias on a cold blustery day. Safe travels to New Mexico; we can't wait till you guys get settled and start posting pics from the Land of Enchantment. I always loved going to the High Country test garden in Sante Fe. It gives you a whole 'nother way of looking at landscaping.
