It's hard to believe this cool guy is 15 already!!
It seems like just yesterday was romping around the backyard with Angel Dory!

He is our lover bug, patient brother and friend to every pup!

Although he may take a few more naps than he used to, he has also isn't afraid to do a little rough housing with his sisters!!

(wearing my purple Smile with Me bandana to help bring attention to
dog epilepsy)

Spring Adventure
by Arty

Long drive in CeCe, filled with naps
A stop along the way, how about some snacks?

Arrive at the park, this should be fun
We were so lucky, we had lots of sun!

So many walks, so many smells
Mama and Daddy relaxed, I could definitely tell.

Nights in the family big bed, lots of good sleep
When it was time to go home, I almost did weep!

But CeCe will be there for a lot more good times,
and I'll be around for a bunch more good rhymes!

Stay tune next week when Rosy tells you more about our first CeCe adventure!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

Nature Friday Flowery Fun!

In honor of the first day of Spring tomorrow,  I thought we would celebrate with a few more March blooms.

Here are some red  camilla blooms that remind me of Aunty HiC!

This soft pink Camilla is Rosy's favorite because of the color but I like the soft petals.

If you think this pink and white Camilla bloom is unique...

Just look at this pink and red variation...
Sooooo pretty, right??

But it's not all about the camillas!
Here are a few other blooms!

A pretty hyacinth

 Some California Poppies

Hopefully this pretty orange flower
will bring a sunny weekend!!

I hope you all enjoyed my blooms this week! We hope your  First Day of Spring full of blue skies
 and Sunshine!

Desert Succulent Greens on Nature Friday

Sunny here,  I know I was suppose to bring you colorful blossoms this week BUT,  I thought it would be more fun to show you pictures of some green plants to help celebrate
St. Pawtrick's Day coming up next week!

Luckily, I found pictures of some cool desert green plants on Mama's phone!!

Mama says this is a garden of desert type plants native to California. She found it when visiting a park by the State Capitol Building in Sacramento.

Just look at all the different greens!

From the blueish green succulents to the yellow-y green cactus!

I like the star pattern left when they trimmed this cactus. The green edges and little circle in the middle cool, don't you think?

Those pickers on that cactus sure are pointy.
I wonder what they taste like
Mmmmmmmm

This cactus had little yellow flowery bits on the end. Mama told me those pickers would really hurt if I tried to take a nibble though.

Mama also says she is VERY glad we don't have any pointy cactus in the backyard...something about me nibbling on EVERYTHING.

Whatever Mama...let's move on

Isn't this succulent interesting? I really liked the green and yellow stripes on all the leaves!

Let's wrap the week up with this beautimous flowering Aloe. Don't the orange points look pretty next to the green??

It kinda matches my Lepra-Gnomes bandana!!

Thanks so much for joining me this week on Nature Friday, Jakey will be back next week with some pretty flowers for Nature Friday!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

Let the Blossoming Begin!

Aaaaah March, the days are getting longer, the sun is out a little bit more and Nature Fridays are filled with blossoms and flowers!!! That's right, Mama's favorite activity so far this March(besides sneezing) is taking pictures of all the blossoms she's been finding!!

 From the interesting plain blossoms...

To the colorful, "in your face" blossoms!

These are some of my favorites...

They are our very own Rhody blossoms! For some reason this Rhody bush likes to blossom 2 or 3 times a year! But it's not just local blossoms Mama has been taking pictures of, she found some really pretty blossoms in  gardens next to our State Capitol Building in Sacramento too!

First she founds these white beauties....

They were lined up along the whole street!
Nature can be sooooo pretty, even along a city street!!

But out of all the blooms, I liked the ones below the most!!

There is something about a blooming pink magnolia tree that lets us know Spring has finally arrived!!!

All the soft pink petals opening at once..

...they look especially colorful against the gray sky!

Even close up they look soft and beautiful!!

Thank you for joining us for a blossoming Nature Friday! Make sure and join Sunny next Friday for a look at some of the flowers blooming here in California!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

Seussical Sisters on Dr. Seuss Day!

Today is Sunny's first Dr. Seuss Day so I thought I would read her a little bit of my newest favorite Dr. Seuss book!

 The Places We'll Go!!

Congratulations! Today is our day. We're off to great places, we're off and away!

We'll look up and down streets, look them over with care. About some we'll say, "We don't choose to go there". And we may not find any we want to go down. In that case, of course we'll head straight out town!

It's opener there in the wide open air. Out there things can happen and frequently must to puppies as brainy and pawsy as us!

And when things start to happen, don't worry, don't stew. We'll go right along, we'll start happening too!

And will we succeed? Yes, we will indeed (98 3/4 percent guaranteed!)! Today is our Day, our mountain is waiting,
So let's get on our way!

Thank you to Ranger, Emmy, Timmy the Tomcat, Junie for putting together this wonderful event and to Comedy Plus for hosting the Blog Hop!!
