Santa's Helpers

Arty: Hey Santa!! Looks like you put on a little weight over the summer, maybe eating a cookie or twenty too many while in quarantine??

Rosy: ARTY...you are going to stay on Naughty list this year for sure!!! Oh Santa, I am so sorry Arty was so rude, is there anything we can do get him on the Nice list?!

Santa: Well Rosy, the reindeer pen is a mess. Get your brother to clean it up and I'll think about putting him on the nice list this year.

Arty: WHA????
Rosy: I'll make sure he takes care of it, Santa!!

Does anyone need any winter fertilizer???

Howliday Friends!

This Christmas and Howliday thing is so very confusing. I have all these new friends appearing every day. Some of these, like Mr and Mrs Ginger, I am allowed to play and roughhouse with....

BUT

For some reason there are other friends like Santa Gnomey and Baby Frosty that are "NOSUNNYNO" toys...

What's up with that?
I thought the Howlidays were a time for ALL friends to play with each other.

Do you all have "NONONONONO!"
toys too??

Nature Friday by the Bay

Last weekend, I joined Mama and Daddy for a bit of shopping in our local stores on Small Business Saturday. What I really enjoy about going shopping in our our small town is how it's nestled up against the Humboldt Bay. So, after the pawrents were done shopping, I asked Daddy if we could take a stroll to enjoy the fresh(although a bit chilly) air along the boardwalk.

It was a beautiful clear day, just look at the blue, blue skies!

I even saw a BIRDIE!
Luckily it was a nice small pigeon and not one of those ginormous seagulls that usually frequent the Bay to yell at dogs and their humans, they can be a little scary.

"Hiya Rosy, beautiful day isn't it?"
Wow...I didn't know the local pigeon's were so nice!

After a bit of small talk with the little Pigeon, I sat on the bench to enjoy the serene waters and distant "clang" of the nearby fishing boats....

This is such a nice place to sit and relax! Unfortunately, Mama and Daddy don't have fur coats like me. After a few minutes, they were getting chilly and ready to head back to the car.

But not before I could point out the little yellow, sunshiny daisy flower!

We hope you find some time to get out and enjoy the crisp, winter air this weekend and don't forget, especially this year, to shop at small businesses when you can!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.
