Sunset Beauty on Nature Friday

All the pretty colors of Autumn remind me of the brilliant sunsets we got to see when we were visiting Colorado!

Sometimes there were evening clouds to reflect the warm red and orange glow of the setting sun

....and sometimes there weren't too many clouds and the sky would turn yellowy pink.

Mama was standing at the back of CeCe when she took this picture.
The orange-y pink reflections in the pond with the mountains in the background make this our favorite sunset view....

It was funny, we never really saw the sun "set" while we were in Colorado, because the mountains were always in the way...but it didn't make things any less beautiful!

We were so thankful to have seen a colorful sunset almost every day while we were away!

Thank you for joining me as I looked back on some more of the beauty we saw while on our vacation.
What are the sunsets like this time of year in your corner of Blogville?

We sure hope you all get to see some beautiful
Fall(or Spring if you're down under) colors of some kind this weekend

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  1. Those are so beautiful. We too sometimes get beautiful sunsets in our part of the world, the only problem being they happen TOO EARLY! (4:05 pm today in Aberdeen)...

  2. Such beautiful Sunsets, we have amazing Sunsets here in the UK for most of the Spring, Summer and early Autumn, but once the clocks change and the days become so short a pretty sunset is a rare sight indeed, especially at the moment as it's pouring with rain every day it feels likexxx

Stunning array of skyporn today! Sadly a lot of sunsets by the Hutch are hidden entirely by cloud which is less decorative and more blanket!!! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx

  6. We don't see sunsets much at our house as we are not usually outside at the right time, but we see loads of beautiful sunrises. That third sunset photo looks like a painting.

  8. Thanks for sharing those beautiful sunsets. Around here we're lucky if we even get to see the sun for a few minutes each day so there aren't many sunsets to see.

  10. Lulu: "The sun disappears behind our hill at like 4pm this time of year, so we don't really get to see sunsets unless we go somewhere at just the right time of day. But the sky is pretty sometimes!"

  12. Our Mom loves pretty sunsets, too, and thinks those you saw in Colorado are so peaceful and serene (her words, not ours). I think you should have your Mom and Dad drive your CeCe this direction so you and me, we can play and hunt critters, Rosy! XOX Xena
