Welcome
to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a
picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. This time of year we know the humans like to decorate the house and yard with all kinds of pretty lights....but here in the High Desert of NM, Mother Nature sure has been decorating her sunrises!
The blues...
The oranges...
The layers of purpley-pinks
It seems like every day the sky is a different color!!
We think Mama may need to spend more time out enjoying Mother Nature's decorations and less time decorating me and Rosy!!
In Memorium...
We dedicate this, and all future Nature Fridays, to the Memory of Gail. Gail never knew this, but Mama almost quit doing Nature Fridays. It was the weekly praise of Gail (along with, first Bertie and then, Nobby) noting that it was one of her favorite blog hops that kept Mama "keeping on" with the hop. For that, we will be forever grateful.
Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.

ReplyDeleteThose skies are so beautiful and you girls are so cute in your holiday decorations. What a perfect dedication for your Nature Friday hop as Gail was all about nature and preserving it.
ReplyDeleteyour memorial has my eyes full of tears for our missing friend Gail.. perfect and I took have almost given up blogging several times, not just nature Friday but the entire thing and a long comes several comments that encourage me in so many ways. you have no need for Christmas lights in your back yard. wow, and the automatically come on at dusk... and they are free. you landed in a little piece of paradise.
ReplyDeleteSunny darling Niece AC reallllly does love all the hues of the New Mexico skies and Mama always does an excellent job of snapping.
ReplyDeleteOh my gracious Beth what a beautiful idea to dedicate Nature Friday's to our dear friend Gail...I too became a little misty when I saw this. If it is ok with you I too will join you in dedicating each Nature Friday to Gail...
Just this morning at breakfast I scrolled back to last year this time time. Gail was preparing to travel to the Pacific Northwest to spend Christmas with her friend Marse. Nobby was going to take a 2 week vacay with his relatives. Both living their best lives....I will miss them....more than words can ever say.
Hugs Cecilia
