So, pretty much everyone knows that this is my backyard right?? Every one pretty much ALSO knows how hot it is outside right?? Maybe it's the heat that has turned every thing topsy turvy!
This isn't too crazy....we do have flowers. Those Creepy Mirtles flower even when it is like a million degrees outside!!
Then, of course, there are those sleepy squirrels....but guess what?????
They are getting NERVIER AND NERVIER!!!
"We told you NOT to come down Mr. Squirrelly!"
...and now look at this silly looking squirrel!! Mama says it is a baby P-O-S-S-U-M.
"We haven't seen her Baby, but if we do we will tell her which way you went!"
...and no summer day is complete in my backyard until...
We see Jakey's floppy ears!!!
Hope every puppy has a Happy Monday and stays cool!!
That is one very brave squirrel! I love chasing squirrels up their trees!

Woof! Woof! I thought that POSUM only comes out at night ... that is scary. Be Safe!. Happy MONDAY! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteHi Dory
ReplyDeleteOMD there is never a dull moment in your backyard. If the introoders continue to come we'll have to form a posse. We'll run them down the road a bit.
I love Jakey's ears.
Hugs from your BFFF
Madi
The squirrels are smart enough NOT to come in our fenced in yard, but the Bunnies are not.
ReplyDeleteGuess what I am after, Dory!
Kisses,
Stella
Oh my...those squirrels are getting brave. Your possum comes out in the day time? Ours only comes out at night.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
We're just happy that it's less than ninety degrees here today, even if that means it was 89.9! I would love to take care of that squirrel problem for you!
ReplyDeleteBunny
Ooh, you're going to get that squirrel, I just know it. I might lay off the baby possum, but that's just because I don't have one in my yard taunting me!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
We hope you are screaming on the top of your lungs.
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
OMD, we have never seen a baby possum - he is almost cute:) We have crepe myrtles too, but they didn't bloom that well this year!
ReplyDeleteGotta love those ears:)
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Oh my mom is really scared of possums - even little ones like this guy. We have them in our yard and she jumps about 20 feet in the air when she sees one.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
I'll trade you a turkey for that possum.
ReplyDeleteWow - I never saw a baby (or adult) possum in my backyard!
ReplyDeleteStewey
Silly squirrel, how dare he threaten to come down that tree.
ReplyDeleteThe baby possum is adorable and you got great photos of him. We have been seeing little ones here too.
Hope you had a great Monday!
Those squirrels are getting TOO brave! And that big squirrel thing is kinda scary...Mom said if I ever see one to run away, they're mean. We'll see bout that!
ReplyDeleteOh, what GREAT visitors!!! I can't believe you had a baby possum visit! Were you able to hook him back up with his mama?!?
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
