Thoughtless Thursday - Seriously Mama??

Do your peoples ever make you play the "leave it game???



You know....you get ready to eat a nice piece of garbage or a cookie and then your person says...



"Leave It!!"


Then they make you do things like put cookies on your paw....and "Leave It." Now I know that some doggies who will not be mentioned Jakey and Arty sometimes like to get into things they are not suppose to so Mama teaches them to "Leave It" so they don't get hurt. But I am a very smart girl and I think my Mama just plays this game to humiliate me....

    Wow you're good with that cookie. I can leave things when mom tells me too, but Vaks he eats all things, like paper, napkins and so on. Mom will eventually teach him, but he bites if she try to take it. She hope he will get better to let things go :-)

    Gee Dory.... when I (F.F.) took my training fur CTD... if THEY said LEAVE IT... I was NEVER EVER allowed to have whatever it was. I was trained that LEAVE IT... means LEAVE IT FUR EVER...
    You are LUCKY that you can FINALLY have the Snack.

    Oh, the dreaded Leave It. It ruins so much! Dead squirrel carcass...LEAVE IT! Cat poop...LEAVE IT! Bah, it ruins EVERYTHING!!!

    I do the leave it thing with my huskies. They hate it. But so far, there is no way they would leave a treat on their paw and not eat it!!! hahaha! Thanks for linking up with us today!

    We make Mauja and Atka leave it with a treat on their paw. They always look just as thrilled ;)

    Wow, we are impressed! Mom says she needs to play the leave it game with me. If I think mom is going to take what I have I just want to hurry and eat it all the more.

    Oh, that was one of the furst 'tricks' Ma taught me! What makes her thinks a Terrier would ever need this command...pffffft!

    OH MY CATS! We had no idea the humans were playing such a game with our doggie friends. You mean they show you a tasty morsel then make you wait? The very thought makes us shudder. Trying something like that with us kitties could cause blood to flow. MOL!
