Flowery Friday

Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. This week we're back at the ABQ Botanic Garden to see what Summer flowers are blooming.

The dragon, and it's castle that welcome you to the garden is covered in greenery.

The Bee Balm, although a bit wilty, is so very colorful.

We think these lilies look like a sunburst.....

Especially with the sun behind them.

Mama's favorite, Lantana are looking fresh and pretty.

We have had some wonderful rainy days during this year' Summer "Monsoon Season". These rains have really helped  the Summer blooms stick around.

These Straw flowers reminded us that it won't be long before Autumn gets here.

Roses are still blooming...

Orange ones....

Yellow ones....

....and beautiful red ones just for me and Aunty C!

We hope you enjoyed our look at the Summer blooms at the ABQ Botanic garden. Mama sure enjoys seeing all the beautiful colors!!

Here's to a weekend full of fun and enjoying nature!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  3. That pink yellow and white rose is unusual. My favorite is the bee balm (I've just planted some in my scents garden). And those staw flowers are an old-fashioned favorite (remind me of my grandmother). You look lovely in todays outfit Rosie.

  10. Impossible to pick a favorite flower today!!! Everything is just gorgeous. Of course,Mom is partial to the roses shown here in all their glory. We had lantana planted in the deck planters, but something, maybe those pesky squirrels, kept eating all the flowers. Mom moved to the front and after all the heat and rain, they are just now starting to bloom. Thanks for all the beauty today, Rosy and Sunny.
