Kingbird and Queen Sunny

This Summer, we are seeing a lot of little Western Kingbirds at the fountain.  Look at the footage TC captured of a few of them over the past few weeks:

These little guys are quiet at the fountain, but don't let that fool you. Rosy says they make nests in the neighbors trees and when she and the pawrents go for walks, they make a big squawky racket! Mama says she is making me an honorary "Queenbird" because I tend to get a bit squawky myself BOL!

We are joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the

  5. We usually have squirrels yelling at us from the trees. Most of our birds are boring and not all the pretty to look at.

  7. You sure look regal with your crown on, Sunny. Those birds are so lucky to have your watering hole available to them.

  9. Sunny, the kingbirds are very pretty. We suppose birds have to make that noise to protect their young. We wonder if they are as noisy as the dumb woodpecker who keeps trying to break our chimney top.
