Road Runner RV Resort Wildlife

Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville.
You might remember the "Sad Rosy Face" at the end of Tuesday's post. Well this picture is the HAPPIEST Rosy face!
This is me by the Red River (that really isn't red).

You see, Mama and Daddy took me on a pawsome hike around our RV Resort and I saw more wildlife than I EVER had before!!

Look over here.....

It's a DEER!!!

...and here is ANOTHER one!!!
I have seen Elk from the car when we lived in Northy North California, but I have never seen a New Mexico Deer before!
(Mama says it is a Mule Deer)

....and OMD, look over there...

A CHIPPY!!!
They were everywhere and boy are they fast, Daddy and I couldn't get anywhere near them!

There were these silly bears too
Scary bears...

....hungry bears

...flying bears

Even Mama and Baby bears!
No worries though, all these bears are wood carvings.
Even though real bears live in the area, we didn't get to see any!

Mama had Daddy and me pose in front of this silly wagon on a stick. I was too busy looking for more wildlife to look at the camera though.

This was such a pawsome walk and I definitely saw more critters than I have ever seen on a hike before!

What kind of critters have you all seen in the wild??? We hope everyone can get out to see some nature this weekend!

OH....We almost Forgot!
Happy Independence Day to all those in the USA!!!
We sure hope we get burgers to celebrate!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  1. That's an awesome number of critters Rosie. We mostly see birds. Sometimes a bunny, a goat or two and rarely deer or pigs. They all do a lot of damage in the wildlife places here so we are trying to eradicate them all. They don't belong here and silly humans let them go here a couple of hundred years ago.
