On this Shark Week edition of Angel Brian's(and Max's) Thankful Thursday, we are not only thankful for sharks, but we're thankful for the many oceans they call home!

There are sharks in every ocean on the planet. We were lucky to live near Arty's Ocean (aka the Pacific Ocean) which is home to little sharks like the Spiny Dogfish to humungous sharks like the Great White shark!

70% of the planet is covered with Oceans, and 94% of the planet's life is found in these oceans....how cray cray is that??

It always amazes me and the pawrents that so much life can be found under the waves.

Of course, I would much rather experience the ocean from the comfort of my perch on the couch during Shark Week...BOL!
We are so thankful to have lived close to Arty's Ocean and the pawrents are VERY thankful they have been able to go under the waves and witness the beauty of the undersea world with their own eyes!!

Thank you to Maxwell and Angel Brian for hosting the

wonderful! we love the two oceans... we have the atlantic and the artylantic so to say now ;O)
ReplyDeleteThe oceans are beautiful but they are also full of danger and can become dangerous. As long as we respect mother nature, we can enjoy the beauty of the water and the things in it.
ReplyDeleteThe oceans and the sharks that live in them are so facinating. How lucky you were to live so close to one for a while.
ReplyDeleteNiece Rosy what a wonderful Thankful....Arty did so love his Ocean...when he was on the sand you could see the love in his eyes. I'm still in aww that your pawrents scuba dive...I cannot imagine doing it.

The ocean is so beautiful and we know that we need to respect the wildlife that lives in it.
ReplyDeleteOur peeps used to live near the ocean on the East Coast, the other one, the Atlantic Ocean. They and their families spent many summer vacations near the ocean. We have never seen one but we bet it would be fun to run on the beach.

I love the sea and I love seeing how happy you are sweet Rosy! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteI have not been in the water for a few years and never got to snorkel, I want to do so someday. The oceans are so amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat is fine about sharks as long as they stay in their neighborhood
ReplyDeleteYou know, Rosy, one theory says that we all - dogs, cats and peeps, - all originated in the ocean. Well, not as dogs, cats and peeps, but well, they evolved. Some ofus have evolved better than others, right, Rosy? *wags* Xena
