White Flower Friday

Happy Flower Friday!!

The summer flower season here on the North Coast of California is slowly coming to a close.
You see, in August the sun takes a bit of a break and the fog rolls in. This makes is hard for the flowers to make pretty colors. But we still have some white flowers hanging around.

This is kind of cheating, cause Mama got these flowers at the Farmer's Market. They are still pretty tho! Stay tuned next week for a special Farmer's Market Flower Edition of Flower Friday!

If you look over there you see.....

White roses that smell so very good and grow on bushes all over our town!

Last we have a close up of one of the pretty flowers and hope that everyone has a lovely Flower Friday!!

Thanks for all the good wishes for my election this fall. The election season is just beginning and campaigning will be going on for the next couple of months! Stay tuned for Town Meetings, Special Campaign contests and more!

Don't worry, myself or one of my campaign staff will let you know when election day is and how you can vote!!

And don't forget:
"To continue Blogville’s Happy Story
…make sure you cast your vote for Dory”

  1. Your white flowers are so beautiful. It always makes us sad when the flowers go away for the winter. Our mama takes tons of photos in the spring and summer and uses her archives all winter.

Roses just win, whichever colour combo they come in... Careful though Dory - your own colouring would mean you could melt into yonder fog...... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  15. Dory, I don't think its cheating. Mommy loves the flowers from the farmers market cause she can't grow stuff. Alive plants don't like her at all.

I am so excited that you are running for Mayor. I can't think of anyone who would be better. I wonder if Bilbo will be on your staff as a body guard?? I am available for any and all foodable pawtys. Just saying..
