Monday Birdy Mischief

On Friday, Mama took me (Arty) for a walkie at my most favorite
spot...the Arcata Marsh!!







It's such a pretty place....but the birdies there can be pretty silly!




Hey Arty, How do you identify a Bald Eagle??
I don't know Mr. Birdy, how??
All his feathers are combed over to one side




OMD, Mr. Birdy...that was pretty bad....almost as bad as 
Mama making me pose in front of this sign!!



Hey Arty, why do herons lift one leg....?
*groan*...I don't know Mr. Blue Heron, why?
'Cause if we lifted both of them we would fall over!!! Bwahahaha




*Blink*.....ummmmm...Ha...ha...ha, Mr. Heron
(see what I mean...Silly Birdies!!)




Hey Arty....what do they call a clever duck???
(UhOh)....I don't know Mr. Egret, what??
A wise quacker!!!







BOL...now that was a funny one!!

    What a pretty walk. I would like to have gotten into the muddy water a bit. I don't chase birds, so they would be safe, but some dirt in the furs always feels good. Nice post.

    Well the one leg standing Heron has been a mystery to mom for years!!!
    Thanks to Arty's walk we now know the answer.
    Arty mom surely wishes she could take a walk with you on that trail. She and Dad walked 72 minutes outside today but
    not on a pretty trail

    It's still too cold and mushy to walk around Mendon Ponds Park here. But one of these days …

    Oh Arty - I knew that the mischief wouldn't really involve a good dog like you. It just involved some very silly birds! My nephew told me the "wise quacker" joke the other day. I agree - BOL!!!! He's reaching the age where his jokes are actually funny!
