Beach Wishes
a poem by the LLB Gang
Look at the birdies on the beach...
wish they were within our reach!
Watching from our sandy paws..
We wish we could hold them
in our jaws!!!
Show
us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a
picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE
to our Hoppity Page.
oh yes... that's our wish too... fortunately there is more good stuff on da beach what has no wings butt stinks to high heaven...
ReplyDeleteI wa sone of the big disappointments of my puppyhood to learn that birds have this sneaky and infair strategy of FLYING when you try to chase them down.
ReplyDeleteBit your beach looks so inviting.
Happy Nature Friday guys.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
I can relate! I always bark birds!
ReplyDeleteLove your poem and I totally agree with you!
ReplyDeleteWe would not stand there like you guys. One of us would start to chase the birds and the others would follow. Enjoy the weekend!

YES! Xena and Lucy
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, the beach...the serenity from that place always soothes my soul. Love your 'line-up' pic. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've caught birdies! They're soft and warm and flappy. But be careful. Grackles and robins will dive bomb you if you catch one of their young. (I think that makes it more fun.) I always (eventually) present my caught birdie to my ghostwriter with a big smile and tail wagging, and say "I caught the birdie for YOU!" Then she can't be mad at me for doing my job as a birdie doggie.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to a beach. But it must be fun to chase the birdies there!
Aw, look at you all lined up on the beach. You're all so cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
That is a very alert line-up on the beach! We try to catch birdies, but they are just too fast...alas...
ReplyDeleteWe love your poem but those birdies look kind of big.
ReplyDeleteFun poem and a wonderful beach scene gang!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my all time favourite pictures of the 3 of you. ❤️
ReplyDeleteI bet they taste like chicken.
ReplyDeleteIn your jaws!!!! Yikes! That is indeed an absolutely fabulous photo of you three.
ReplyDeleteMom and Dad are going to take us to Galveston next spring!! Y’all inspired her.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute photo!! ♥
