Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. This week, we are taking a look at the roses that have been blooming at the ABQ Botanical Garden!
We mentioned yesterday how the frequent Spring rains have really helped the flowers bloom in our corner of Blogville.
Here is some proof, just take a look at all the beautiful roses:
Pink buds....
Faded pink flat blooms
Fiery red roses...
...and dusty pink petals!
Here we have a very cute Lhasa flower ;-)
This mountain rose has such a vivid yellow center, don't you think?
This peach bud is just dreamy!
I wish they had smell-a-vision, because the rose scent was just heavenly!
We leave you with the reddest rose in the garden
for Aunty C (it's her favorite color)!

I like all the pink roses in all shades of pink. The red roses are too fiery for me.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous roses in so many colors but our favorite is the mountain rose as we have never seen one and it is so interesting with that bright center! Happy Friday!
