Nature Feline Friday

Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. Today, I have an interesting backyard report.

While sniffing around the Birdy Circus earlier this week, I caught fumes of a few different critters! Bunnies, of course, they like to munch on the feed block and, as Sunny mentioned last week, Fatty Squirrel has certainly left his smell everywhere.

But I am pretty sure this scent is of the feline persuasion!
To get to the bottom of things, Mama and I turned to TC,
Look what we saw:

The nose knows....especially if it's a kitty!!

We hope all our fur-iends get to see, or smell, some nature this weekend!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  1. That kitty is looking to take down one of your beautiful birdies, Rosy! I was just settling in and mom turned on your video and it brought me to full attention!

  2. You do have a good nose Rosy. That cat is gorgeous, but no birds when the cat is about! I love your little hat :-D

My word - a handsome cat, no doubt, but definitely a bird deterrent! You need to leave more of your scent around, now, to give it something else to sniff! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  6. Niece Rosy Itty bitty Kitty alert...I love your pose and OMDs your sun hat.
I am currently dealing with a most aggravating tree rat. It is digging in all my potted plants on the on the deck. Judging by the mess I think itis looking for gold or a magic tunnel to your house.
YIKES on both accounts it needs to cease and desist ASAP
    Hugs AC

  7. You need to scare that kitty away from all the birdies, Rosy. I hope that cat doesn't harm any of your feathered friends.

  8. I foresee a Bird Hunt in your birds near future.... that is a beautiful and BIG cat, almost as big as you, Rosy. we have tree rats, they get in our garage but only when we have a downpour of rain, we had 2 rains last week, one rat in the garage. I learned to set the trap but when it grabbed that rat, even though it was dead, I had to bring it inside and let Bob sit in his hospital bed and drop it in a coffee container... hurt my heart, but they chew wires and stuff in cars.. can't have that

  12. Gracious mercy! The kitty is attracted to the birdies, and you can hear all the birds and squirrels calling out the warning to stay away. I wonder if this is a neighbor cat, it certainly looks well fed.

This is why I keep my cats indoors, they don't need to be out hunting as they get fed plenty.

Thank you so much for linking up with Feline Friday, I hope your kitty visitor will go home and stay.

  13. Lucy: That looks like a well cared for, well fed cat.
Chia: Yep, it's probably eating all the bunnies and chipmunks and squirrels and birds. (Except fatty squirrel)
