Squirrel Hunting Saturday

 We tried our hand at squirrel hunting while we were camping....

We would have caught TONS of them if Mama would have just opened the door!!

Mamas can be so very cruel!!!

Flowers from Vacation Friday

 

Arty here today to wish everyone a very Happy Flower Friday!!

This week Mama and I thought we would show you some flowers we saw while we were on vacation!

 

The rhododendron were starting to bloom in Washington

 

We found a couple of different varieties!

We saw these cool blossoms while we were eating lunch one day...Mama looked and looked but we can't figure out what kind of blossoms they are, does anyone in Blogville know??

 Here are some beautimous Japanese Kikuzakura Cherry Blossoms

 

We also saw some flowers during our walkies in the forest!!

 

We saw these pretty pink flowers everywhere....

 

We are calling them "Pretty Pink Hanging Flowers"

 

Here we have the "Pretty Purply Blue Flowers on a Stalk"

 

We're not doing really good identifying these flowers Mama...

 

We thought these little green bells were pretty...

 

...and these pretty white flowers...

 

Were everywhere!!

We had a BLAST!

Mama finally got all the laundry done and stuff put away and Jakey and I can tell you what a BLAST we had camping!!

 Jakey was a little nervous at first since this was his first big trip.

 By the time we got to our first stop at a hotel, Jakey was a pawfessional traveler!!

 By the second day, Jakey might have been a bit too relaxed!!

 We had lots of rainy day adventures!

 ...and saw lots of wildlife!!

 We visited a couple of beaches

...and read lots of peemail!!

Time just flew by!!

 Mama took LOTS AND LOTS of pictures, and we'll be sharing them on Travel Tuesdays for the next few weeks!

Spring Blossoms on Flower Friday

Hi all, Jakey here today to wish you all a Happy Flower Friday and show you some of our Spring Blooms!!

Through the magic of the interwebs, Mama and I are finishing this post up while camping, and are sorry for any errors...Mama says something about the interwebs and forests not getting along...

Anyways...let's get started!

Here is an artsy shot of one of the flowers from the bouquet that Chewy.com sent for Dory.

Here is a pretty day lily basking in the morning sun!

..and here is me trying to tell Mama that, even though the wings are blue, I'm not sure boys should wear fairy wings!!

Our pretty purple asters are spreading and taking over the front flower bed.

Here are close ups of some pretty wisteria flowers.

Hmmmmm..maybe I can fly with these wings....What do you think??

A poor little Rhody flower. We have had lots of issues with our Rhodys blooming this year. Mama is hoping they are in full bloom when we get home.

Finally, a little pink camilla bloom that reminded me of Dory...
