Flowers from Vacation Friday

Arty here today to wish everyone a very Happy Flower Friday!!
This week Mama and I thought we would show you some flowers we saw while we were on vacation!

The rhododendron were starting to bloom in Washington

We found a couple of different varieties!

We saw these cool blossoms while we were eating lunch one day...Mama looked and looked but we can't figure out what kind of blossoms they are, does anyone in Blogville know??

Here are some beautimous Japanese Kikuzakura Cherry Blossoms

We also saw some flowers during our walkies in the forest!!

We saw these pretty pink flowers everywhere....

We are calling them "Pretty Pink Hanging Flowers"

Here we have the "Pretty Purply Blue Flowers on a Stalk"

We're not doing really good identifying these flowers Mama...

We thought these little green bells were pretty...

...and these pretty white flowers...

Were everywhere!!

We hope you enjoyed our Vacation Flower Friday! Please let us know in the comments if you recognize any of the flowers Mama and I couldn't
identify!

Hop aboard and show us the flowers blooming in your corner of the world (If you don't see the link here, please click HERE to go to our Hoppity page)!!

Oh my - what glory!!! Now, that first deep pink is one of the many ORNAMENTAL CHERRY varieties - the clue is in the leaves. The long stalks with the little blue bells are probably one of the varieties of... BLUEBELLS!!! We get carpets of them in the UK. The larger purple bloom with the big green leaves I believe to be a SALMONBERRY. Am struggling with the little green bells, they may be the casts which have lost petals... ad that last white one is FALSE SOLOMON'S SEAL... Oh yes, you caught some beauties in this one Arty and co!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  12. You found some really lovely flowers and it looks as though Yam-aunty did a good job identifying the "unknowns"!

Our Mama says she will try to get some photos of the flowers in our garden once all this rain stops so we can play the 'flower spotting game", too :)

  15. Those are all such pretty flowers. We think Yam is right especially with the "Pretty Purply Blue Flowers on a Stalk" being Bluebells. Another term for them is campanula. There are many varieties and we have quite a few in our gardens. Some even look like the one you found.
