Please take a moment to cross paws and send your pawsitive thoughts and POTP to those effected by Hurricane Irma.
In
addition to those in the path of Irma, please remember to keep those recovering from Harvey along with those in the
Northwest and Western states evacuating due to wildfires and heavy smoke
in your thoughts and prayers.
Happy Flower Friday!
Arty and Jakey asked for today off so I, Mama Beth, here Seeing Beautiful color at Sequoia Gardens. Is it just me, or has this summer flown right on by?
The blooms at Sequoia Gardens are starting to slow down and I am thinking that this may be the last dahlia hurrah for 2017.
We'll start with a trio of beautiful Autumn colored dahlias. I love the dark brown leaves and buds of the plant.
You can see the tree in the background starting to don its beautiful, burgandy fall colors.
I was holding out for a "non-smoky" sunny day to come out and do my garden shooting but, with the threat of rain moving in, I settled for this foggy drizzly morning(these were taken earlier this week).
This shot was taken from the very back of the garden, you can get an idea how thick the fog is, the smoke was just about as thick last weekend.
Although some of the flowers are looking a bit ragged, there are still so many beautiful flowers to be found.
The bees are doing their best to collect everything they can before the end of the season!
There was even a bit of hydrangea to be found!
Feel free To See Beautiful through this short video I put together of the blooms I saw along my journey.
