Whew, it sure is a bright and sunny day! Mama, can you get my sunglasses? 

While we wait for Mama to get back, take look over there...

Aren't these lovely bright yellow day lilies with pink edges?

Thanks Mama, that's much better! Do you like my cool Hawaiian shirt?? Mr. Angel Bailey left it to me, I always feel extra handsome when I wear it! 

I digress...

Let's get back to the lilies...

Thankful for Mama and Me Time!

 As much as I love walking with our whole pack together, there is something very special about walks with just me and Mama.

 I can set my own pace, stop and read pee-mail whenever I want...

 Sometimes Mama and I just stop by the side of the trail to rest...

 ...and appreciate the pretty views!

 We really don't have a destination, and mostly Mama let's me pick which trail I want!

 Sometimes I find her pretty flowers, like this sweet pea.

 She always calls me her Handsome Smilin' Jake!

I am so thankful for having time alone with Mama!!

Tongue Out at Firewoks Tuesday

 I am giving the people a couple of blocks away razberries for  scaring my brothers with their loud banging firework the past few days. I have been pretty calm and just bark at the noises. For some reason Mama says this does not help anything, I told her I was just trying to protect her...sheesh!

 We understand some humans have the need to hear these loud noises and see the pretty displays...but please go to a fireworks show.

If you don't, and you live in my neighborhood I'll be forced to give you a razberry!
