Decorated Skies on Nature Friday

Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. This time of year we know the humans like to decorate the house and yard with all kinds of pretty lights....but here in the High Desert of NM, Mother Nature sure has been decorating her sunrises!

The blues...

The layers of purpley-pinks

...and the orangey pinks too!

It seems like every day the sky is a different color!!

We think Mama may need to spend more time out enjoying Mother Nature's decorations and less time decorating me and Rosy!!

In Memorium...

We dedicate this, and all future Nature Fridays, to the Memory of Gail. Gail never knew this, but Mama almost quit doing Nature Fridays. It was the weekly praise of Gail (along with, first Bertie and then, Nobby) noting that it was one of her favorite blog hops that kept Mama "keeping on" with the hop. For that, we will be forever grateful.

Thankful Thursday

Today, on the first Thankful Thursday of December, we are thankful for the wonderful Advent Calendar the pawrents bought at Costco just for us!!

Everyday in December(until Christmas) we get a toy or treat!

Sunny and I made a deal.....

She can have allll the treats(I can a real treat snob)....

...and I get all the toys!!

We are so thankful that we have made the Advent Calendar a family tradition....

and for the toys and treats too of course!

Backyard Wildlife Wednesday

Rosy here today with Gary the Gnome to share some cute little Juncos at our water fountain. These little Dark Eyed Juncos visit when the weather cools off and will stay until Spring.
