The Horror that is a Road Trip

Before Dory barges in and tells you all what a WONDERFUL time we had last Saturday on our family outing, I would like to share it with you from MY perspective!

On Saturday Mama and Daddy did the unthinkable, the horrible, the unbelievable!!! They KIDNAPPED ME and MADE ME go on a road trip with them. This was not just the ROTE that they take Dory on either...this was a THREE HOUR (that is like 3 weeks in doggie time) drive ONE WAY!!!! We went all the way to Fort Worth, Texas!!!

Mama actually contaminated our beds by putting them in Daddy's bye bye machine!!

I gave my Mama my bestest "Don't make me go" look....for some reason it didn't work this time.Probably 'cause I have dried pumpkin on my face and she was giggling at that and NOT paying attention!

There was a bunch of boring scenery out the window...

Are we there yet????

All that way just to go for a walkie here??? Sheeeesh....humans. Daddy came all the way here to get a watch and Mama took Dory and I for a long walk down the street.

I found a sunbeam to lay in on the drive home.

I let Mama borrow my Bloggie....with my help!

Mama asked if she could borrow my bloggie today to talk to your Mamas about some crafty thing. I gave it lots of thought and then agreed to share if she would let me help. She said I could do the intro AND be in the pictures. I guess that is ok...

Lately Mama has been playing with string...ALOT. She says most of it is for a new hooman puppy that my Aunt Annie is having, but some of it is for a game she is playing with some bloggie friends. I will let Mama take it from here....

Last week I came across a craft chain that is going around with some of those "other bloggers", you know...the ones that don't necessarily blog about their pets. I thought it would be very cool to maybe start a craft chain here and see what we could get going. The concept is that for every 1 craft you send out, you should receive 36 back. I say, ok....but if I get even one or two I'll be happy. I also thought it might be cool to make pet crafts, as I see lots of crafty types when I am reading my blogs each day. This doesn't have to be an elaborate craft. I am making a little crochet birdie. But you can sent a photo, a card, or anything else you can think of. Here is the description I received:

A New Park!!!

Yesterday Mama and I visited a new park , kinda like Town Lake...but MUCH closer!

It is Brushy Creek Lake (Mama says more like big pond) Park!

I walked and walked

Mama took scenery pictures...

I read and left some peemails....



...and then we walked even more!!!

....and then we had a nature photo shoot!!

Next time we go Mama will bring the flippy thing!!

and for those of you wondering, "What did Bilbo do?"

Bilbo stayed home and took a nap. *sigh*

Squirrel Sets a Dory Trap

So Mama and I were on our daily walk (a benefit of round tuits) when I came upon this cool toy thingy....

It kind of looks like a toy Mango or maybe Jack might have gotten a hold of don't you think?? 

It smelled like other doggies and....wait...do I smell SQUIRREL????

AHA...a covert squirrel trying to set a trap for the most highly trained squirrel Lhasa in Texas (trained by the BESTEST Lhasa Squirrel hunter in the WORLD, Co. Tank of Kansas!)

I remember my training and previous squirrel maneuvers..."La Dee Daaa, I am so sure there is no squirrel here...."

Sneaky little tree rat.....I will get him when he least expects it...

Where did he go Mama??? He was just there!!!!

Almost Wordless Wednesday - Happy Anniversary

Happy 9th Anniversary Mama and Daddy! 

I am concerned because there has been a trip mentioned that they are going on to celebrate ...and talk of Bilbo and I having our OWN Spring Break vacation.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......have you guys heard anything???

Tuesdays with Bilbo

I really love having my Mama around all day to boss around. 

Dory never listens to me when we were home alone and Mama glances up from that TV on her desk every now and then or says, "No Sir!" when I get noisy so it's been great EXCEPT...she has time to do things that she used to do only when she got a round tuit.She used to NEVER get many of those tuits.

She must be getting lots of round tuits now because on she had time to give me a BATH.
Unlike Tank, I do not like the water and especially do not like it on my face, YUCK! But there is one wonderful thing about baths. After I get one, I get a COOKIE!!!! It almost makes it worth it!

Oh yeah...Mama made a movie if you wanna watch, the tuit fairy must be giving Mama LOTS of those tuits!
