Woofstock 2013

This past weekend Mama and Daddy took us to Woofstock!! It was a fundraiser for the Sequoia Humane Society which saves homeless puppies and kitties.

Bilbo stayed home and caught up on his sleep but all of us plus Mama AND Daddy got to go. Here we are checkin' out all the doggies!

Look at these two....it is like a big giant and her "mini-me", they even have matchy ribbons!

Mama loves Dobies, especially brown without croppy ears, we were lucky we didn't end up with another sister!!

Bestest of all....we had BUNCHES of quality time with Daddy!!

We had SO MUCH fun.....that we sleeped alllllll the way home!!

Today is Sugar's 12th Barkday and to celebrate she wants to see all of Blogville smiling! I just LOVE to do smileys so here is my BIGGEST smiley to wish Sugar the happiest barkday EVER!!

Sea Doggies

After we left the big trees, Mama and I headed to Arty's ocean.  I swear, if Mama doesn't get to the ocean every day she thinks it will disappear....But guess who I met while I was there???

This pack of Sea Doggies!!! Mama says they are really Sea Lions (or seals, she didn't get a really good look), but they barked like we doggies do....

Hey Sea Doggies...wanna play bitey face????

You may wonder why this doggy is laughing so hard.....well Mama says that Sea Doggies don't have any paws....and their teefies are REALLY sharp....so bitey face wouldn't be a good idea.

"How about a good game of fetch the fish Dory???"

Maybe next time Mr. Sea Doggy, Mama says we have to go home....why don't you give me your email so we can stay in touch??

Thursday Walkies in the Trees

Our new state has lots and lots of trees.....no squirrels...but LOTS

of trees. Today's trees are from the Redwood National Forest that is south of our town. We took a ride on the "Avenue of the Giants" which has lots and lots of OLD (and BIG) trees.

BIG BIG trees.....Look how very small I am next to this tree.  This is a Redwood Tree.

Here is the Immortal Tree that has been alive for around 1000 years, and has lived through a lightening strike and flood AND an ax trying to cut it down!!

Here is me taking a break and sitting in a chair made from some wood....It could have used some cushions.

Mama made me sit in this tree in search of the "perfect picture".

Next time take my silly string off woman...and focus more on ME and less on the silly tree!

We walkied until the sun came out...then Mama said we had one more stop to make before we went home.....

Mama, it isn't that I don't like all these pretty flowers in my new backyard...BUT.....

How am I suppose to train Arty to protect against squirrels if

I can't show him how to chase them anymore???

Hey Dory....on my last adventure I saw a furry squirrel...

Oh Arty...that is a CHIPMUNK....not a squirrel!!
