Mama, it isn't that I don't like all these pretty flowers in my new backyard...BUT.....
Where are all the SQUIRRELS???
Have the doggies in California banished them all to
Oregon???
How am I suppose to train Arty to protect against squirrels if
I can't show him how to chase them anymore???
Hey Dory....on my last adventure I saw a furry squirrel...
Just look at him!!! Mama and Daddy said I couldn't chase him
tho....
Oh Arty...that is a CHIPMUNK....not a squirrel!!
See, you are already forgetting!!!
Does any puppy know what happened to all the Squirrels up here in Humboldt County NorCal???
The Blogville Squirrel Eliminators Committee must have targeted you guys....sorry!
ReplyDeleteOh no! No NoCal squirrels? Maybe word has spread of your fearsome squirrel chasing abilities. Maybe you can entice them with bird seed.
ReplyDeleteNo squirrels?? They must have heard there is a new sheriff in their town!
ReplyDeleteWe have some in Canada. bunnies too. You guys can come on up and we'll scout them out together.
ReplyDeleteHmmm we used to see them in RWC

Do you think you will find any squirrels? That little chipmunk is very cute but not a squirrel substitute.

We have squirrels down south (Lost Angeles) but... we have way more "ground squirrels!" They prefer to live in rocks!!! Mabel loves to chase them!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap gurl ~ they must be all in MY YARDIE!!!! Yups, they're all up in MY trees, eatin' MY acorns, eatin' MY plums....evil little.....
ReplyDeleteAnyhu, you can come down and chase em' with me!!!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Maybe there aren't enough trees there that grow nuts for the nutty squirrels:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Word got. Out there were good squirrel hunters in the area

Oh no, no squirrels in your yard. They must have heard the squirrel posse is in town.
ReplyDeleteWe used to see ground and Gray squirrels when we lived there. Not so much in town but when we went to the parks.
If you really want to see something scary try the Humboldt Redwoods State Park down around Weott. There is (was) a giant squirrel, I believe it's near the Visitor's Center but I'm not sure. That area and The Lost Coast were two of our favorite places to play.
Dory, maybe they are scared of you. They might have been warned by the squirrels at your old house, so they all moved out. You might have to set some traps and keep a vigil. Put Arty in your squirrel costume and set him outside and see if that draws them in. Good luck.
