Well I, Jakey, will be hosting a very fun event:

 That's right, I will be holding the very pawpular, stuffy deading event on August 19th!!

Just have your Mama get you a stuffy and get to deading!! Now granted, I am a pretty violent deader.  YOU don't have to de-stuff the stuffy, just have your assistant snap a shot of you with the stuffy!(Although de-stuffing may get you extra points!)

 Now kittehs, we know felines are excellent hunters and can dead just as well as us canines..just look at Miss Madi!!  So no excuses, get your pictures to us by July 15th!!

Flower Friday at The Marsh

Happy, Happy Flower Friday!!! I don't know about you but this week just flew on by for us!

This week I thought we would visit one of my favorite walkie places, 

Arcata Marsh!!

Seeing all the pretty flowers this time of year, always gives me a smiley!

Even on during the Gray May Days the Marsh is beautimous!!

There are fields of wild California Poppies...

...and tons of wildflowers!!

Mama always has to stop and take her Artsy Fartsy pictures...

We see lots of itty bitty wildflowers

We also see big wildflowers!!

So many flowers...so little time!!

Come on Mama, let's move it...we've got to get in lots more steps!!!

Honest Kitchen Proper Toppers - #Chewyinfluencers

Before we start our review, we wanted to continue Bilbo's 14th Birthday week with his famous Pumpkin Face!!

does rock the head tilt, doesn't he??

Now...on to our review!!

I was so happy to open the door last week to see the Chewy.com

Doggy Dude had a package just for us!

Chewy.com has the bestest customer service, did you know than can be contacted 24/7 for any questions or orders you want to place?? PLUS, they get their orders out zoomie fast and if you place an order over $49 the delivery is FREE!!

Now...if Mama would bring the Chewy.com box in and opens it maybe we can get on with our important work as 

#chewyinfluencers!

Thanks Mama!! OMD...We get to review Proper Toppers by Honest Kitchen.  Now, the instructions say this should go on top of our evening kibbles, but we had a different idea!!

Just look at these delicious looking morsels and they are human grade too (don't get any ideas Mama)!! But they are also about right size for small doggy treats, don't you think Mama???

You're right Jakey, and I just love that they are all natural, grain free!! They are also GMO free with no corn, wheat OR soy! Although they have turkey...we can let Arty have a little morsel or two for a treat! Most importantly, they are made in the good ole U.S.A.!!

Well Jakey, Mama had me do the whole "leave it" thing. That was fine...BUT....after she put my hat on and turned back to get her flashy beast, I decided to just help myself..teeheehee. They are VERY delicious treaties!! 

Don't worry...I saved some for you!!

OMD....they are just the right amount of crunchy too. Which is to say they just melt in my mouth!! Mama thinks they will make excellent training treats, right Mama??

Why yes Jakey...they crumble very easily, which makes them perfect for training. 

 Although a "crunchy" type treat, all the pups had no problem chewing them up. The only thing that might keep us from buying these on a regular basis is they are quite pricey.

I do see us ordering these as a "high level" reward as they have become the new "dog crack" treat in our home!!

There you have it...Honest Kitchen Proper Toppers get 12 paws up from us and 3 paws (or one hand) up from Mama!!

Debate Tuesday - Questions from Blogville and Happy Birthday Bilbo!!

As we get closer to summer, we thought it might be a good time to take a break from our regularly scheduled debates and take some time to do some individual campaigning!  So this week will be the final debate until the beginning of September!

 This week, we are pleased to answer some questions asked by our very own Blogville Community!!  To shake things up a bit, we will be answering them separately on our own Blogs, so make sure to visit:

If you asked a question and don't see it here, make sure to let us know in the comments and I will make sure to answer it for you!!

Without any further ado, here are some of the questions we have been asked so far!

1-Do you think we can publish some guidelines/rules/mandates on flashy beasts at naptime??
 I think this is a great idea and, if elected, I will set up a committee to draft a "regulated and approved flashy beast schedule and compensation amendment" to add to the Blogville Bill of Rights!!

2-Since you are vertically challenged (like me) we are wondering what your 'platform' of choice will be when you are at the podium?

I am a strong believer in "Getting By With a Little Help From a Friend" and hope I can keep Blogville a place where you can always find a friend!!

 

3-What is your platform for Mayor?
I think Blogville is a pretty great place the way it is, so my main platform is to keep Blogville a place where we can meet new friends and have fun!!

4-Here is a three part question regarding kitty kats:
a.What are your opinion on cats? Friends, foes, or supreme masters??
When our Angel Addie was around, Dory and Bilbo agree she was the Supreme Master. I have never had a Kitty Cat before (although I have asked Mama repeatedly) but I do have many kitty cat friends and regularly appear on Sunday Selfies! 



b. Are you planning anything to get our hoomans to share more of their food? Specifically of da MEATZ variety, but really anything (eggcept for vegetables which I has heard some peeples ackshually eat).
As I  rarely get people food, I am a BIG SUPPORTER OF BACON FOR EVERYONE!!  If elected, I will TRY to have humans share...but we may have to form a rebellion.  I would put Travis the Lone Star cat  in charge because he is the Baconater of Blogville for sure!!

c. Do you support the idea of offishually changing Saturday to "Caturday?"

I have no problem changing Saturday to Caturday, as long as we all are allowed to participate in Caturday festivities!

5-What will you do to help ensure international residents feel part of the Blogville community?
 I view Blogville as an all inclusive community, which has residents from all over the world. I would love to see a "World Holiday List" to make sure that Howlidays around the world are celebrated!
