Monday Herby Garden Mischief

The weather has been beautiful for the past couple of days, so Mama has been busy getting some nommies that grow in the ground planted.

Nommies...that grow in the ground??? Sounds like something that I, Dory, may have to check out!

Mama says this is Bay Sill. She will use it in salads and sauces and stuff

What's this stuff over here Mama...it smells like lemons!!

Mama says it is a lemony herb to help keep the skeeters off of the porch.

I think I need a closer look at this minty stuff.....

It appears that walking around in the new herb-y garden is frowned upon at our house....oops!!

Happy Monday!!

  10. But Dory, you were just enjoying that minty smell. The hoomans think they are the only ones who can play in the dirt.

  12. Oh. Well, who knew?!?
Our mom has purchased some herbs, but we aren't out of the woods yet as far as being too cold at night for them, so they have to sleep in the garage. During the day, they get to hang out in the driveway, right by where we come in and out for walkies.
    Yours sincerely,
    Margaret Thatcher
PS: Did you know that Cilantro is VERY tasty?!? Just ... no reason I'd know that or anything. I'm just saying.
PPS: What is the lemony one your mama put in?
