Enjoying the Journey on Nature Friday - Part One

After my trip to the eye doctor last week, Mama thought it would be nice to break up our journey home with a few nature stops.
Today, I am going to show you two of the greener stops we made.

Our first stop was at Valley of the Rogue State Park, only a short nap from the eye doctors office!

I did some surveying of the park from the vantage point of this tall tree stump. What a beautiful park with bunches of places to walk and sniff emails left by pups who had visited from all across the country!

The trails are nestled up to the beautimous Rogue River!

...if you look to the distant left of the picnic table, you'll see a fenced area. That is actually a large dog run!
Unfortunately, it had a large dog in it but Mama said maybe next time we visit we could check it out.

After a nice walk around the park, we hopped back in the car and made our way back to California.

The next green place we stopped was a familiar one, Lagoon Creek Picnic Ground.  Mama goes here sometimes to find Serenity during trying times.

Lagoon Creek makes me smile because it is close to my ocean. I could even hear the waves crashing!

In fact, I was serene just listening to the waves and knowing I would see my ocean soon!

Mama made a short video so you could hear the waves too!

You can also view the movie HERE on YouTube

We hope you find periods of Serenity this weekend!

Make sure to join me two weeks from today when I show you where else we visited on the way home from the eye dogtur!

Rosy will be here next week for:
