Can you believe Mama actually called me stinky last week?
... that's not the worst of it either! After calling me stinky, she gave me a BATH!
Seriously Mama, a senior boy is expected to have a certain level of stinkyness
and now you are washing all that well earned fragrance off....
What's that Mama??
Treats??
The extra good special treats, right???
Mmmmmmm, extra good special treats always help me get through anything!
Do your peeps give you extra good special treats when they want you to do something you don't want to do?
oooh splish splash? that deserved the best treats ever ;O)
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteOh, Jakey, does it count that in order to make sure I keep going and do the things I need to do but really don't want to, I have to bribe MYSELF with extra special treats??!!! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
Totally agree Jakey.
ReplyDeleteLet us senior boys be just a little bit stinky!
Good on you for insisting on the extra special treats. I remember the one bath I had and it was totally horrible!
ReplyDeleteMiaow from Miss Oswin
We get treats sometimes but usually we are expected to do certain things without treats. For our sports we always get really good treats. Sorry about the bath :(
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that it's okay for seniors to be a little bit stinky because I myself at age 76 have found that every now and then I skip a day and don't take my daily bath. And nobody gives me any treats to take it either so you are lucky. I do wish we had a sink that bow could fit in haha do they make sinks that big
ReplyDeleteYou handled that quite well and deserve lots of treats Jakey!
ReplyDeleteTake all the yum yums you can get, Jakey! Then, the next time you go out, find something stinky to roll in.
ReplyDeleteYes you should be the very best of treats if you have to do something you don't want to do. I'm sure you got them too. Who could resist that handsome face.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
Jakey you deserve 87 treats...after being called stinky, and then 87 more for the baff.
ReplyDeleteNext thing you know Mama will be washing all your beloved bedding
Hugs Cecilia
We're glad to hear you get extra good treats for having to endure that water torture.
ReplyDeleteI know all about stinkyness having to be washed off. It's a crime, isn't it, Jakey.
ReplyDeleteOMD, she washed off all your hard-earned stink?! How rude!
ReplyDeleteEven I, 50 pound Lucy, got stuck in the grooming sink over the weekend. Well, it didn't help that I rolled in all the dirt at the dog park. Anyhow, now it'll be fun for us to get stinky all over again! XOX
ReplyDeleteAll the time, Jakey. We know how to work those treats:) We bet you weren't stinky at all. Mama just wanted to give you some loving:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Baths are needed by all of us
ReplyDeletePhod has been stinky since his trip to the VET and now he is worried this post will give Lady ideas!
ReplyDeleteWarning: When your mom says stink someone is getting wet.
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for extra special treats! I bet that you forgot all about the bath as soon as you tasted the treats!
ReplyDeleteOh dude, I knows from where you speak...I gots the water torture just last week, and Ma is ALREADY callin' me stinky! the nerves. (okays, it might be cause my skin infection seems to be back, and I have to go to the vetties next week for it ☺)
ReplyDeleteButts, we seniors ARE suppose to be stinky....it's our right! We've earned it! sigh.
Wells, top-shelf treaties are good too....
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
pees: Ma is all jealous your Moms can wash you in the sink, and not gets the whole bathroom dirty......I don't knows what she means....I'm an angel.....☺
Hope it's a double dose of treat goodness for having to endure the water torture. 🦴🦴
ReplyDeleteThe real reason we give you baths is because you look so darn cute when you are wet! :)
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Human's don't understand what smells good and what smells stinky."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Speaking of not understanding, I think I'm going to need further explanation of the concept of 'doing something you don't want to do' ..."
