Breaking the Law

Oh yes, Mama DID post Nature Friday a day early....Good help is soooo very
hard to find!

Feel free to hop aboard at any time!

Wow! Can you believe this is the last Nature Friday in January? The first month of 2021 sure did fly by, didn't it?

This month we are letting Mama do FFF, you can find her post HERE and make sure to visit YAM Aunty HERE
 to see more entries!

Today we are visiting Hookton Slough Trail. It's a very pretty trail with lots of birdies!!

It was a beautiful sunny day!

Mama asked my permission to show some of the pictures she took last week...

There were more clouds that day and Mama said it was more "moody"

Looks like there were more birdies too!

Turns out it was good that Mama took those pictures....

Mama did you see that sign??

Does it say what I think it says??

WHAT DO THEY MEAN NO DOGS??
Mama, did you not see this sign last time you were here?? I can't believe you made me break the law like this!!

Quick Mama, back to the car!
That's not a police officer I see is it???

We sure hope you all find time to enjoy some nature this weekend!
(without getting arrested BOL)

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  2. Hi Rosy,
What a pretty trail, and what a shame about those rules.
Every day here it seems there are more and more rules. Don't visit anyone's house or garden. Don't go out at all except to exercise outdoors and then don't go more than 5 miles outside the city limits and you can only meet one other person. Cafes and restaurant all closed. No picnics. No foreign travel.
    Sigh...
    Toodle pip!

Rosy, I can see you were so indignant about that sign, you got a little ahead of yourself here. Not that we're complaining - these views are definitely worth another visit - so I'll be back tomorrow!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Hmm, I've felt like I've been one day ahead all week too. No running? Seriously? We think that area is run by cats...or maybe squirrels. Guess you won't be going back THERE! Have a great early weekend. XOX Mom, Lucy & Xena

  8. What a pretty place to visit. Too bad you won't be able to go back there again unless they change the rules.

  10. What a horribly, speciesist policy! I think you should put together some protest signs and march!

  11. What a beautiful day you and Mama had together!!! We are sure if a policeman happened to com along, he would be so charmed by you and your beauty that he would forget all about the rules.

  15. We don't mind the post a day early, we just saved it until today. Our mom ignores those kinds of signs too. Hopefully none of us will end up in the human kennels! Such a pretty place you found to walk, and you look super cute and happy.

  16. Lulu: "If you need to go on the lam, Rosy, just remember, don't Instagram or live-stream your whereabouts. The fuzz are wise to that sort of thing these days!"
