We couldn't think of a more pawfect place for Nature Friday this week than in the midst of nature itself!
Today, we are going to show you a bit from our hike through the Cloverdale/Healdsbug KOA. This is the camp ground we told you about on our last Travel Tuesday Post.
Arty took his stroller on this walk. Lately he's been getting tired a bit quicker and really enjoys "strolling" around.
But enough about Arty, let's get this walkie started!
First, we walked along the pretty pond we showed you earlier this week. We were thrilled when we got to stay in a campsite right across from the pond during our homeward bound stop!
We finally got to see this quacky duo. They didn't get too close, but did quack a quick hello! Daddy said he kept waiting for them to say "AFLAC"...silly Daddy!
(for our readers outside the USA you can click HERE to see where Daddy got that idea)
Mama and Daddy saw this cutie watching us at some point along our hike.
For some reason, they didn't tell Arty and I he was there! Can you believe it??
I mean SHEESH, we wouldn't have barked TOO loud, BOL!
After awhile, Daddy and I blazed the trail for Mama and Arty in search of some nature views!
We found these beautiful flowers, Mama thinks it might be Jerusalem Sage.
There were vineyards and farms both, in the valleys and the taller hills all around us.
We even saw the moon coming up over a vineyard!
But the prettiest sight we saw was the sun setting right outside of CeCe!!
We had Mama video to show you how beautimous is was, make sure to turn the sound up so you can hear all the different sounds of nature.
You can also watch it HERE on YouTube
Thanks for coming along with us on our nature hike in through Cloverdale/Healdsburg KOA today!
Make sure to stay tuned next week for more CeCe adventure !!
oh how beautiful... and that two chairs at the lake are the best place ever!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tour! I see dogs on the back of bikes a lot lately! And I once saw a cat in one of those strollers on a bus in Rome!

ReplyDeleteOMD, Rosy, I think you have excelled today, with so many beautimous shots around CeCe. The little video was delightful and yes, I do believe that is Jeruselam Sage. Golly, nature is a wonderfurs thing, eh? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
What a beautiful time you had! We loved the sunset and your video. The sounds of nature always sound so happy.
ReplyDeleteOh deer! We see deer at Gramma's sometimes and we get all crazy! Looks like a beautiful place you found there.
ReplyDeleteAFLAC"... that cracked me up. Years ago my friend signed up for their auto insurance. They gave her a stuffed goose. If you pressed it in the right place you know what happened.
ReplyDeleteYou take us to the most amazing places my sweet friends and all of your family have million dollar smiles. The sunset of the pond was amazing. I say enlarge and frame it.
Hugs to you all Aunty HiC
You sure found a beautiful place to go camping and how lucky you were to get a spot near the pond.
ReplyDeleteWhat a spectacular place! In your video, we loved hearing how different the birds sound.
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a fun time! I'm a bit jealous of your RV, that looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, such pawesome nature shots! And I loves the Artymobile too.
ReplyDeleteOMD!!!! That was a FABulous tour of your campground!!! I looooved it to pieces! All that was missing was MOI !! BOL!!! If I am not mistaken, is that Dory's Wheelie Mobile? Wells, it is pawsome, and you looks like you loves it! I thinks I gots to gets me a king size one, since I sometimes gets slow on my roll too, nows that I'm almost 13! 😁
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
I loved all the shots and the video. I would have loved to enjoy that sunset with you all. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Oh my goodness that was the most pawfect Nature Hike, and the sunset at the end made it even more pawfect. Great that Arty got to join you too. And I totally would have chased that deer!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Beautiful ! Thank you so much for sharing !
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous nature hike!!! So much to see and listen to = the video was wonderful. Mom wishes she could get Lightning in a stroller like that since he hates to walk very far. But we aren't so sure she could push him:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We can't believe you two missed the deer. You just can't count on the peeps to point things out to you, especially when it could mean lots of barking and pulling on the leash. But maybe, Rosy, you were too busy sniffing all the other good scents on the trails. That's what I woulda been doing! XOX Xena (and Lucy)
ReplyDeleteOh so lovely photos
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to camp! The deer, the lake, the ducks, and the SUNSET! Wow! I'm glad that you had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWow...you guys found some 'pawsome' nature scenes! We'd go traveling with you anytime!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to camp and visit. Art, Lady imagines you are barking directions as you are pushed around the way a king should be.
ReplyDeleteI could spend all day sitting into those chairs looking at the water.
ReplyDeleteWhat an epic adventure, and we love your pink chariot #sopawesome! Hope mew're having a fab weekend! XX
ReplyDeleteLulu: "What a place to walk! I can just imagine all the smells! But why didn't they want you to talk to the deer? I'm sure it would have been fun to have a chat."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Dennis told us that Tucker used to get pushed around in a stroller or towed in a wagon, too, so you're in good company, Arty!"
