Nature Friday in Cloverdale, CA

We couldn't think of a more pawfect place for Nature Friday this week than in the midst of nature itself!
Today, we are going to show you a bit from our hike through the Cloverdale/Healdsbug KOA. This is the camp ground we told you about on our last Travel Tuesday Post.

Arty took his stroller on this walk.  Lately he's been getting tired a bit quicker and really enjoys "strolling" around.

But enough about Arty, let's get this walkie started!

First, we walked along the pretty pond we showed you earlier this week. We were thrilled when we got to stay in a campsite right across from the pond during our homeward bound stop!

We finally got to see this quacky duo.  They didn't get too close, but did quack a quick hello! Daddy said he kept waiting for them to say "AFLAC"...silly Daddy!
(for our readers outside the USA you can click HERE to see where Daddy got that idea)

Mama and Daddy saw this cutie watching us at some point along our hike.

For some reason, they didn't tell Arty and I he was there! Can you believe it??
I mean SHEESH, we wouldn't have barked TOO loud, BOL!

After awhile, Daddy and I blazed the trail for Mama and Arty in search of some nature views!

We found these beautiful flowers, Mama thinks it might be Jerusalem Sage.

There were vineyards and farms both, in the valleys and the taller hills all around us.

We even saw the moon coming up over a vineyard!

But the prettiest sight we saw was the sun setting right outside of CeCe!!

We had Mama video to show you how beautimous is was, make sure to turn the sound up so you can hear all the different sounds of nature.
You can also watch it HERE on YouTube

Thanks for coming along with us on our nature hike in through Cloverdale/Healdsburg KOA today!

Make sure to stay tuned next week for more CeCe adventure !!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  6. AFLAC"... that cracked me up. Years ago my friend signed up for their auto insurance. They gave her a stuffed goose. If you pressed it in the right place you know what happened.
You take us to the most amazing places my sweet friends and all of your family have million dollar smiles. The sunset of the pond was amazing. I say enlarge and frame it.
Hugs to you all Aunty HiC

  15. What a fabulous nature hike!!! So much to see and listen to = the video was wonderful. Mom wishes she could get Lightning in a stroller like that since he hates to walk very far. But we aren't so sure she could push him:)

  16. We can't believe you two missed the deer. You just can't count on the peeps to point things out to you, especially when it could mean lots of barking and pulling on the leash. But maybe, Rosy, you were too busy sniffing all the other good scents on the trails. That's what I woulda been doing! XOX Xena (and Lucy)

  19. What a lovely place to camp and visit. Art, Lady imagines you are barking directions as you are pushed around the way a king should be.

  22. Lulu: "What a place to walk! I can just imagine all the smells! But why didn't they want you to talk to the deer? I'm sure it would have been fun to have a chat."
Charlee: "Dennis told us that Tucker used to get pushed around in a stroller or towed in a wagon, too, so you're in good company, Arty!"
