Christmas Trees and Thankfuls

Happy Sunny Independence Day!!!
Today, I get total freedom off my leash!!! WAHOO!!!

Here is a Video of my celebrating my freedom indoors!
(You can also watch it HERE on You)Tube

What's that Cool Yule?
What do you mean today is NOT Sunny Independence Day and it is really Christmas Tree Day??

But I'm finally allowed to do zoomies in the house, jump on the couch and run around the backyard like a normal doggy. It is definitely Sunny Independence Day!

 Phhhwwwaaaap!

I suppose we can celebrate both...
Well, as long as I don't need a place to go potty!!

From Mama:
Sunny is officially off of physical restrictions. Unfortunately, this is not because her patella healed , but because they have "done everything" and it seems she is one of the rare cases where her patella cannot be secured/repaired. Luckily, they did repair her right patella, and she doesn't seem to be in any pain. As you can tell in the video, she is running and jumping and having a grand time!
We will keep an eye on her, and time will tell.  She is on joint supplements and an Omega Vitamin to keep everything loosened up.

The next step will be "bringing the pack together" which we'll be updating you on in the coming weeks!

  2. Sunny it is lovely to see you scampering around in the house in relative freedom. We are sorry that you only have one secure patella, and hope that you manage to adapt as best you can to the situation. We know your dear Mama and Daddy have done their very best for you and will continue to do so.
    Sending hugs,
    Gail and Nobby.

Of course you can celebrate both, Sunny! I think you will adapt well, once you know what the 'dicky knee' will allow you to do and what it won't... and I send lots of good wishes for the reforming of the total pack. May it go forth as one... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. We are thrilled she can get back the life she should be living but it is a bummer the one did not take like it should have. Hopefully she will manage fine and will get back into the pack and enjoy life once again.

  6. Morning Niece Sunny...first I love your sparkly bow, second...Aunty was all wiggly seeing you play with glee. Who knows..........maybe being able to do STUFF might be a type of PT that is magic. As the PT folks like to say motion is lotion..or at least that is what they told Older than Dirt Aunty. May the pack intro go well

  7. We're so happy for you, Sunny, that you get your freedom back, but we wish you were fully healed, too. Our paws are crossed that you all can be happy to be reunited and that you stay pain free. You do make a cute Christmas tree, Sunny.

  11. Yay, Sunny! But we're sad to hear your leg can't actually be "fixed." You must love your Mama an awful lot to let her put all that stuff on you. Or are the treats just that good. *drool* XOXOXOXOX Chia and siblings
