Frankie and Benjy on Backyard Wildlife Wednesday

 

Welcome to Backyard Wildlife Wednesday, that day of the week we let Mama share some footage TC(our Trail Camera) has taken in our backyard. Today we are going to take a closer look at Benjy and Frankie, the two little field mice that hang out by the bird feeders.

Mama named them Benjy and Frankie after the two little mice in the Douglas Adams' book Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In the book, the mice disguised themselves as the pets of one of the heroine's when, in reality, they were two of the most intelligent beings on Earth!

We aren't sure if OUR Frankie and Benjy mice are the smartest beings on our Earth, but they have been able to avoid our neighborhood kitties(and stay FAR away from our house)!!
