At the end of January, TC caught a new cute little friend hopping around the bird block!
(As always, feel free to visit our YouTube Channel HERE)
We call him Newt, the White Breasted Nuthatch. Even though the WB Nuthatch is here, in our area, year-round, this is the first time we have seen one up close!!

We are joining Comedy Plus for the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop! Thanks to Sandee for hosting!
thats an interesting bird... it looks like a mini seagull... and wow how fast it is...

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous view you had of Newt! As much as it is great to see all one's usual friends, it's always fun to have 'fresh news', isn't it? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Newt is a great name. You have a lot of different birds.
ReplyDeleteWe love the nuthatch and how he goes down the tree head first with his wonderful nasally sound. They are such beautiful birds!
ReplyDeleteAunty C adores nut hatches. We have WB and brown headed...which is teeny tiny.
ReplyDeleteThey tickle me when they walk upside down on tree trunks looking for a meal.
Hugs and OMDs enjoy the little fine feathered friends.
I have all my feeders in the garage currently we are expecting high gusty winds today and rain
the feeders are in front of my dining room window.

ReplyDeleteWe love the white breasted nuthatch family that calls our property home. They have the cutest call too.
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute in that pink hat, Rosy. I think you're smiling.
ReplyDeleteLove the video. What a cutie pie.
